Went ahead and coded it. Decided to just do two columns, and no seperate comment box.

Quick question- I love the old profile you made for me too and I don't want to retire it completely. Would it be really difficult to turn the graphics into a pet profile? If not I'd like to get in line to do that :) I want to make it into Etherielle's profile if possible and keep everything the same except switching out the username for the pet name.

Hmm, probably not. Obviously I'd have to remove the comment box, but other than that it should be mostly recoding it. And luckily I hoard commission files so I should have the .psd somewhere too for easy editing.

Just a small update for you guys. Sorry for keeping you all waiting, but I've been needing some offline time and thus haven't been working on commissions either. Still been thinking about how to tackle them though, so not completely ignoring the work. I'm trying to get back in the saddle (or well, office chair) and I hope you won't have to wait too much longer.

I tried doing an overlay of glasses on the wall behind him (so it isn't so empty..) but I just couldn't find a picture that lined up at the right upward angle so I gave up.

You could always take some of the drinks from subeta items and line them up to border his name, that would work! Ricci (Poker-face) has just about every drink I could find in his TC so you don't have to look very far for images to use.

Not at all sure about the styling or anything of the name. I couldn't even decide on a color. xD

And I need to go searching the internet for a divider for the textbox (to divide it from the tabs links) since apparently bars like to get real creative with their chalkboards.

Please do let me know what you think. As we both agreed, this is a tough one, so any suggestions you might have can go a long way. :)

At first I was thinking that it was going to be difficult to figure out something to suggest, but a quick google search got my brain ticking, and one quick glance told me exactly what it needs.

[ xXx ] --- the chalkboards could really use a simple border like whats around this text, and I think that you could even use the awkward shape to your advantage to separate the navigation from the rest of the text by aligning it in the little outcroppings and using a simple line border between the textbox and navigation [ like this ].

As for the font, maybe see if you can find something similar to the font that's on the chalkboard? There's got to be something around like it.

Yes! That is a great idea and looks really nice. Just have to see if I can find a similar brush/custom shape or if I'm doomed to try replicating it myself. x)

And I did download some chalk fonts for this. None too fancy because licenses and such, but I'll see what I can do. ^^

Added a similar style of borders. Had to simplify a little since I had to do them myself. Yay for noise masks to add texture though. Lifesaver right there.

Next up is locating a nice font. ;) Going to try and get that done before I immerge myself back into the world of ebooks. Tried a semi-decorative font, and added texture and shadow to it. Let me know what you think. ^^
