The book, along with all these items came as prizes for the Item Identifier game which broke many, many years ago, was never repaired and eventually removed:

Has anyone spoken about putting Malerias Clawed Glove back in circulation? SL says it's a retired MC item...

If you do put MCG back into circulation, last time there was a shitshow because it got rereleased at like 7.5mil, when it was previously 20mil or something like that...

Any plans to bring back . It was a high prize for the very last reading drive that then was announced to be the last reading drive, and I have seen maybe 2-3 on the site. (and its a good weapon...)

I worked really hard (And spent a lot of SP to get that ball...thinking initially the prize was going to be another book, while assembling books to hoard for the drive. XD) ..I think it would be nice for people to be able to obtain it, but only if they don't drop the price into the toilet. It would make me kinda sad that I put that much effort into obtaining it to see it tank. (I don't have a problem with it being obtainable, I just want people to have to put some effort into it too, yanno?)

I would be fine If they priced it at 100K crystals or something like that.

In general I would argue they underprice and over stock everything in the crystal shop.

I wouldn't mind other people having a chance at earning a Thunderball as it's very useful, but it was very expensive and time consuming to earn and I have turned down very enticing offers on it, I hope if it is ever re-released that crystal shop is not the way to go, rather some other plot or event based way where it has to be earnt

(And I do agree that items re-released via crystal shop that are not collectibles should maybe be reduced in quantity to keep desirability)
