So I got home kinda late last night. I just wanted to crawl into bed. But I heard this odd dripping sound. Turns out I have a leak in my bedroom. The snow on the roof is melting and somehow coming into my room! GGGrrrrrr!!!!!!!! It got a lot of my religious stuff all wet. I am so mad! So I cleaned up what I could and put a container down to catch the drops. The carpet is all wet, The paint is stained. And all night I herd the dripping. I was constantly waking up convinced that the container was overflowing. It never was of course. Jon spent most of this morning trying to break off all the icicles and remove some snow from that area. The Fix it guy for our building says he should be able to get to it by Friday. Yeah I am thinking its about time we moved.

Cturtle I know how you feel about crappy apartments. I just moved because my last apartment was no good. We are paying close to the same now and this apartment is leagues better than the last one. It's also outside of town a little, so it's quieter. I'm loving it.

Keedapet, thanks for noticing the skin colors. I think I got the only two viruses I wanted and this was for the color that the skin turned. I don't like the gross ones. :/ At Halloween the pet zapper can be used on our HAs. I cant wait to collect more of the experiment ones. I wish it was retroactive because I've been the galactic and the water skins before, but they aren't available to me in the wardrobe. :(

I think we should do a St Patrick's Day HA Contest. St Patty's day is my favorite holiday :D , do you or Sal do the HA contests? If you want, I'll do it?

I got the "cat" skin at the Halloween event and I liked it so much, I didn't want to lose it, so I just kept it on. I was delighted when they changed the site so you could keep your different skins. Yes, it's too bad it isn't retroactive. I had some really cool skins before I finally settled on the cat one. I'm looking forward to using the zapper also, but not too soon! I want to enjoy the heat of summer for a while first!!

Don't ever ask me to run a contest. I would never, ever be able to choose a winner. In my books, we all look so loverly!! ;) Everyone would win.

I feel for you! We've never been in an apartment, but had various leaks and it is so frustrating. There are times when if I could just walk away and move, I would have!

I love St Patty's day too! I agree I love to see what everyone is wearing. I get on here to say hi, and I get sidetracked going to everyone's profile to see what there wearing so I can put it in my wishlist. LOL Anyway its a kinda bad day over here. My allergies are driving me mad. I'm stuck at home today carring for the leak and trying to do laundry. But my dryer is broken. And since its so cold outside I have to hang everything up on my shower rod. It takes a day (or more if its jeans) to dry. I wish I could find a job out here. At least I get to hang out with you all and my pets all day.

Aw, Cturtle, I'm sorry you're having such a bad day! You didn't need your allergies to act up the same time that your roof is leaking. I hope that roof gets fixed quickly tomorrow. I pray you can find a job.

Congratulations to Nik's on his 26th birthday, Terry. Sure would be nice if he lived closer to you. My son and his family living so far away means we miss all the birthdays and holidays with them too. It's so hard!

Hello everyone! My area has been hit hard by the winter storm THOR... I find named snow storms so weird and funny. shakes head Anyway my boss sent me home from work early yesterday due to all the flooding and mudslides and when I got home the power went out (around 2:30 pm) and didn’t come back on until after 5 pm today. Creek had washed out some power poles and they were dangling/floating down in the creek at the mouth of the hollow. We were warm and toasty though due to the kerosene heater. It’s now Mr. Diddles favorite spot to lay, lol. I was sooooo bored without power though. It’s crazy how dependent we are on modern technology. Luckily my kindle was fully charged when it went out and I could read by its light and not candle light that gives me a headache.

I’m reading a new Sci-Fi fantasy Romance. I love romance novels and this one is really well written and C. L. Wilson is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. She goes into so much detail that the visuals are wonderful and flow through my mind as I read. I’ve just started her “Tairen Soul” Series and am in love with the Characters, the magic system and the world. HERE is a link if anyone is into that kind of thing and wants to check it out. :)

, I agree that these forums are an excellent place for all the cult games and events that we have because I’m just in love with all the features in here that are lacking in the cult forums. If they would incorporate things here, like on Gaia and other forum features around the net it would be even more amazing... for instance, dice rolls. You can’t set it to roll a dice with your post and I can come up with a LOT of games and things for that feature if we had it. I may make a suggestion in the games forum.

No one has done the HA contests since Thera was frozen as far as I can remember. My memory is faulty though. She’ll be back soon, as her time will be up. I’m with in that I hate making those types of decisions, lol that’s why we usually leave it up to popular votes that other users send the person running it.

Good morning! It's another Snow Day! I am here to hang out for the day too. Done being on a time schedule someone else dictates only to be left waiting for a no-show. In every aspect of my life. My time is mine. It belongs to nobody else, and I dictate who gets how much and when. nods Sorry, it's been a trying couple of days. I've been pretty much keeping to myself when online. It's nothing personal, so if my answers are short and sweet, do not take it as anything you did wrong. I am dealing with other bugs and wrenches in offline life. Just got home from work. I am working tomorrow for a half day as I am so busy. I already have 6 hours overtime as of today, so tomorrow, I will either work 4 or 5 hours for a total of 10 or 11 hours overtime.
