You need to go to your pet page (where all your pets are) to activate it I believe.

Apparently so. I think at one time there was a silly glitch where you could use a sweetheart potion on a kumos before those came out.

Just put one in just in case :D besides, Shae technically got a silver pet so I wanted to see if she would be able to get the achievement xD

I am going to leave this open until I know you cannot get that pet through the zapper again. Plus, I wanna see if they can award you the achievement.
