Shinwa's Bracelet Shard didn't disappear

I started a quest for Shinwa yesterday but I only completed the first step, so "Shinwas Bracelet Shard " was in my inventory when I came back on Subeta today. I just completed the remainder of Shinwa's quest but I still have "Shinwas Bracelet Shard " in my inventory.
This is wrong, right? How can I fix it?

The quest resets daily so if you stopped at one yesterday then you will still have the piece from yesterday. Today's quest would have its own piece.
