I did that when the kids still lived at home, but it's a lesson you'll not forget that's for sure. Sadly I was half way thru a pint of berries before I popped a slice into my mouth. ICK! I had diced up an onion for spaghetti sauce just minutes before and forgot which knife I used. There weren't nearly as many strawberry slices in the salad that night as usual, lol.

That's one hell of a discovery, haha. My brother did the same thing with a spoon. He stirred the ramen noodles he had cooking on the stove and accidentally used the same spoon to mix up a pitcher of iced tea. makes an ick face

hee hee! I grew up near a large garlic growing region with a regional festival about garlic, and garlic ice cream is pretty tasty.

: Wow! Sounds like Gilroy! I know that place, been there many times, but have never been to the Garlic Festival. Tasted garlic wine, and garlic ice cream...both actually very yummy. Interesting thing is, one of the biggest growers of garlic actually grows a lot of it here in Fresno...weird huh? Love the big outlet store there. Best place to buy sockies...

Fresh parsley can get rid of the garlic breath issue. I need to keep the knive separation in mind too. Watermelon and onion doesnt mix either. lol
