OH man y'all.. what a night. Sicca had a 2 hour layover, away from the ones shes coming home to, away from the ones she just left - she cried and cried. And in turn I cried after I got her to calm down and on the final leg of her journey home. Add to that I pulled something, I dont know what, in my back, its like the shoulderblade, ya know? It makes breathing a sharp sting and you cant quite turn your head that direction? I have no idea how, or even what it is but my gawd does it hurt.

I did manage to get the kids home so they're tucked into their own beds and sleeping until Mom gets home. Ric didnt have to work today but I wanted them for a few hours anyway =)

And with that Im off to the couch, hopefully whatever got pulled or pinched or tweaked in my back stops before much longer, I'm not having any fun with this a'tall.

Sorry to hear about your back, and I hope it is better soon. I'm glad you got to spend some time with the kids. How old are they?

Oh Mama Bear ...pawsitive thoughts for both you and Sicca!!! I've been dealing with a pulled something or other under my right shoulder blade for a week now...not as bad as yours my dear. I think it was from sleeping with too many animals on the bed (lol, don't ask) and twisting this way and that like a human pretzel.

I recommend Voltaren with a good back massage and some memory foam on your bed-top. Dang but it sucks getting old my pet! :)

IME Subeta has a known history of crashing/lagging/loooong cache delays in the Wardrobe when the Masquerade starts. I think it pays to get ones mask on early so there's no need to wait for this year's fix to start dancing. It's not so much expectation of an early start for me as it is proper caution.

....and the chance of showing off more outfits than there's time for in the Masquerade. Think of us as having the Atebus equivalent of the tailgate party. :) A lot of us already have cocktails in hand from the Anonymous gifter.

Get well soon ! I'm having some minor back surgery Thursday.. trying to calm some nerves with an injection that my arthritis has antagonized by moving a couple of disc's. Hopefully be up to par real quick though.
