: ( giggle ) I just caught a AE restock and cleaned them out. I love restocking this time of day. It was just 20 between stocks last time.
OK....it's late, cold ( it's been snowing all day...) and I'm tired. Time to bundle off to bed and warm my cold toes on Welly.
Thanks that's my first recipe from Panama,... from you dear...Yayyy ....I will be building a book shelf on the end of the kitchen cupboards that i was informed of tonight.I am getting my friends old oak cupboards so i can replace my 1955 cupboards...i'm soooo happy right now i could burst..I took all my measurements from theirs tonight so i can draw up a drafting sheet as to what it will look like....this is the fun part all the planning..putting in electric plugins and light switches into the walls..yesssssss!!!!Bounces around the room...

: You are welcome Sweetie. Tonsillitis is a major pain in the arse.
: You're welcome. Did any of that make sense?
:
Pepper Steak (steak picado)
Pepper Steak
Cooked rice
3 lbs steak meat ( chuck is fine ) vinegar salt and pepper to taste
1 onion 1 green bell pepper 2 clove garlic, minced or pressed from a garlic press.
4 tbs tomato paste 1 tbs soy sause 1 cup broth 2 tbsp corn starch
Cut steak into strips, marinate in vinegar for 15 minutes. Remove. In a large skillet, sauté the meat in oil, season with salt, pepper. When steak is done, add peppers, onions and garlic, sauté until the onions are transparent and the peppers are tender.
Mix the corn starch, tomato paste, soy sauce and cold broth until smooth pour over steak, onions and peppers and heat until the sauce thickens.
Serve immediately over rice.
Alternately, marinate the steak in teriyaki instead of vinegar, and then use equal parts teriyaki and water to make 1 cup liquid, add 2 tbsp cornstarch (instead of the tomato paste, soy sauce and broth) to make the thick sauce.
Furthermore, ground beef works well if steak is cost prohibitive.
Here is the recipe that Weldon was able to get from Grandpa Billy ( my author's father ) who served in the Korean Conflict whilst stationed in Panama. Enjoy.
Also, that is very cool about the cabinets and bookcase. I love projects like that.

: I gave a recipe from Weldon...I don't cook ANYTHING! ( I am literally scared to death of the kitchen...I have been known to burst into fits of hysterical tears at the sight of (shudder) boiling water. I will not even take a hot bath because it is too much like cooking. ( I will take a hot shower, or a tepid bath...lest you think that I might become a little stinky like my fellow mustelid cousins...) ) alas....) I'm just thrilled to see you around more, I have missed you hanging out with us.
sudden waves of tiredness.....
Andreas, your HA is looking fa-boo!
Nice recipe may i use it?
Anyone know current info on Lumi gifts?
: Lumi gifts will be completely restored, no data permanently lost, expect gifts by Friday. That was the gist of the last thing I read.
Absolutely, you may use that recipe, that's why I posted it. Weldon says it's super easy to make and you can use the cheapest cuts of meat.
...o made me giggle just now about the bath being to much like cooking hehhehehe i can almost wee you shudder when your fuzzy toes touch the bathwater and all the bubbles would make you feel like your boiling is seasoning...yes best stick to showers hahahah (((LUFFS YOU)))

OMG guys.... I am so overwhelmed right now with emotion. I want to thank all of you for being so generous this Luminaire. I know that you all have been busy with RL, and I am so grateful to have friends like you here. Thank you so much.
You are all so special to me and I thank you so much.

love the pic sweet, :)
you are so welcome
Just wanted to get this out here. I don't know how many actually saw on my profile page that I was opting out of Luminaire this year, due to real life issues (travel, injuries, family matters). I couldn't remove the tree itself as there were already gifts on the blank space that could have been a tree. At any rate, I just opened my "tree" and saw a ton of beautiful gifts from you lovely people (as well as some others). My next few weeks are still going to be pretty crazy, but I want you to know that I'll thank you personally in time as well as give you a post-Luminaire present, as I feel badly about not having been able to participate this year. Happy New Year to all of you! ❤
