we were talking about the new challenger that is in the cash shop
did you get your scrolls straightened out

Yes, I did. I'm considering trying the new opponent, at least once. Which weapons did you say to use again?
Edit: looks disgusted Well, I tried and he wiped the floor with me. I'm just not ready for that strong an opponent.

Wow from what i read it is a very hard one to get rid of too.
: Grumble indeed! I'm done for the day and my paws are sore. I filled two two-bushel hampers full of old roots, leaves and twigs that I dug up today! I only cleared a 9-foot square area, but it looks nice. There's a lot of shade there, some wild seedless grapes ( yum ) and it's quite cool. I'm thinking of putting out a little table and a couple of chairs for late summer afternoon tea. Welly wants to build a grape arbor to provide more shade ( so he says, I think he has his eyes on growing more of those grapes for distilling into brandy...he keeps talking about building a still....just what we need, a moonshining weasel. ) I think an arbor would be a very nice touch for the garden.
: Yes, pepper trees are very hard to get rid of. And all the rock-work ( the garden wall and the flowerbed retaining walls ) don't make it any easier, because the tree roots like to hide in the crevices between the mortar and cobble-rocks on the earth side. From what I've been told, if you break a root, you now have two roots that can sprout. Egad! It wouldn't be so bad if the tree actually made pepper. But it is one of those trees somebody planted a long time ago that came from a garden nursery because they grow fast. Hence the problems, they are susceptible to disease, are invasive, the limbs are easily broken and damage roofs, they are messy in that they produce a prodigious amount of leaves and they are a host to bark beetles and other vermin. Certain municipalities have banned them from being planted. The forestry service routinely clears any they find in their territory. Unfortunately, we live on the border of the National Forest and there's nobody around to dig this evil tree up for us. I'm praying the Maker for a very precise lightning strike some day.
oh, thanks! I always get them but the last one is way too hard for my level 11 pet and this one will probably be even harder! LOL

Pouring the round up to it will get rid of some of it too.I read where it likes to sprout everywhere it's cut. We have a tree that is about as horrible here... as it throws off seeds to the point of choking out lawns and the seeds are everywhere. They easily start to grow everywhere they land too.The town installed them when they first started as a community and now they won't get rid of them even though they cause so many problems like all the problems you already mentioned.
yes this new challenger is a extremely hard challenger this is the stats of that challenger
HEALTH 11,000 STRENGTH 3,250 DEFENSE 4,000 SPEED 1,900 EXP 3,333

: There is a poison, "Triclopyr" that can be used, and one of the forestry men said that about five or six cuts into the bark with a hatchet and three or four squirts of Triclopyr per cut would not only kill the tree, but all the roots. I don' t know how to do that or where to get that chemical. I guess we are going to have to just keep digging and grumbling. I think this tree was either planted by somebody a long time ago, or it's the result of bird droppings. I love birds, but their droppings grow all kinds of stuff...little poops.
I know,i have a wild rose bush growing in the middle of the north yard.It was likely from bird poop too.It never grew anywhere else.LOL That triclopyr(Has a few names) it's called: Garlon or Turflon or Pathfinder, Access, Brush-B-Gon, Confront or Crossbow (2).
: Sorry, your ping never did reach me, despite the fact that you did ping me. It probably got eaten by the downtime/glitch when the Quest-A-Thon started.
Anyway, I'll comment you on what happened.
[edit] Tempest has descended from above in order to play! You receive a storm item so she can get close enough to give you a MIGHTY BEAR HUG.
: Looks like Tempest is out to play. :)
I feel for you. We have Aspen trees and a wild scrub willow that are the same way here. They treat Round-up like fertilizer. Only Sodium chlorate applied directly to a cut root seems to kill the stuff, and that is so non-selective that it kills everything in the area!!!
You can also drill a few holes into the tree and then inject the poison. That works well.
