- hullo lair buddies. Any of you who know me know I have a terrible memory. I know some lair members are trying to get the 45k achievement and I was curious as to how y'all are doing. I'm constantly torn on whether to go for it or not.

well ........... in the beginning it goes very quick off course(another 100-500 or 1000 items is just nothing) ... because you can use and buy just anything ( all the stuff from questing - buying cheap stuff in shops, trying to restock new itemss... but once you go over the 42 k unique items it gets very expensive and it goes slow :( !!!

not sure if i will get there eventualy or not, i do my best, but, like i said, i am now at 42,673 unique items and it seems to take ages to get another 100 to be honest .......

I'm working at it, but as says it's slow-going. I'm at a little over 25,000 and I'm working at emptying out my wardrobe right now. I wish with all my heart that I had put off my various collections and chucked them into the hoard. I'd be a lot further along. It's annoying that we can't move things out of them. BTW, BoneCollector, I'm really impressed at your count!

and i agree bringing all wardrobe stuff to gallery and from vault to gallery is indeed tedious :)

Yes, it is. Buying is much easier and faster, but I'm tired of burning through sP. 8 years...I've only been making a concerted effort in the last month or so. Before that, I just chucked things in as I got them. I hope it doesn't take me 8 more years to finish...

I guess I could go that route and then just start over again with my various collections. I'll empty out my vault too.

i bet some people would do it in one year but for me its just when i am online ( sometimes 2 hours a day and sometimes a whole week not ;) so thats why it takes me 8 years - i dont work on it every day - i had other goals before

edit: i think i found what was wrong - i needed to use the "public version" link :)and not mine
