Thanks and happy 4th to you too! :) It was kind of bittersweet. We got together with a lot of my family and had fish and did fireworks. That part was great! But my wife's mother passes away late Tuesday night. We're having her service on Monday. Missing her a lot

Happy FOURTH of JULY all! My poor puppies are shivering like crazy even with the vet prescribed chill pill in them. The fireworks have yet to start and they go off all around us but the ones in the neighborhood have been going off all day. Well, really all week. My pooches are fried. I'm looking forward to some apple pie here in a minute and just thought I'd check in and wish you all, American or not a happy day!

- Wow! Beautiful picture! We got to see a lovely fireworks display right in our backyard courtesy of two of our neighbors. They did a great job, but pictures didn't come out so well. We also got to see Venus and Jupiter in the night sky last night!

- I heard about the Adelaide coach in the news the other day. That's awful :( We've got the women's World Cup finals tonight to watch. USA v. Japan. It should be a great game. Then the men's Gold Cup starts up, so it's football, football, football in our house lately (though we say soccer, which drives me crazy).
