- We're not really out in the country at all. We're still in the city, just not within the city limits. We're only about 2 or 3 miles outside of the city limits, but there's still tons of civilization close by, but tons of wildlife too (lots of coyote problems at the moment). I think our fireworks regulations are a bit lax in the state as you can buy them tons of places. When I was a kid in New York state, there were no fireworks. You had to drive to Pennsylvania to get them.

Ooh, random event!

You notice a Amulet of Life on the ground, but right when you bend down to pick it up, lizard minions come out of nowhere and scurry off with it!

Your trap springs and you spray like mad as the lizard minions escape. They will not get away this time! You place Amulet of Life into your inventory.

I'm pretty much in the center of my town. I don't think I'd like living where coyotes roam around, seeing as how I like little dogs and they'd be fair game for them.

- The coyote problem here has come up out of the blue. It seems a pack has been displaced and found their way into some nearby neighborhoods, with possibly someone feeding them. They are not afraid of humans and have even snatched some dogs out on walks with their owners. Scary! There's at least one trapper working on catching them and re-releasing them closer to their native habitat. There have been a few recent alligator sightings too. I don't know which I would rather encounter if I had to pick...

It is surprisingly hard to find out how long the torch floodlights last. It takes a 40 foot ladder to reach them though.
