Problem So I posted edited two posts ">here and the edit goes through when i click the edit button but as soon as I refresh the page the edit is gone.

So:

• Edit shows after posting, it disappears after I refresh the page.
• The "Last Edit by Tobias at 02/1/15 at 3:50am" is there, while the content of the edit is gone.
• If I click edit again the edit is there, it's just not visible on the forums. (it did several tries to make the edit show up in the edit field)

I tried: Possible solutions tested on computer: (latest version of chrome on windows 7)

• browsing away from the page and going back
• hard refresh (which only made the "last edit" show up on my second post)
• tried to edit again, new edit doesn't show up at first. Only shows up after a refresh
• The "last edit date" change after hard refresh

Tested on Iphone 5s with latest iOS (in desktop version of site):

• post shows up same as on computer, but when editing the edited version from on my computer shows up.
• edits also show up in the editor but not on the forums
• edit date doesn't change and I did 5 edits or so. Date still shows 10 minutes ago when i tried to do the first original edit.

short version: I tried refreshing on computer and iphone, I tried re-editing on computer and iphone, i tried browsing away and nothing makes my edits actually show on the forums.

I use Firefox and windows 8, none of the posts show up

My edit in my cw shop vanishes as well. It pings the groups inside that edit, but the entire edit disappears. So those who were pinged don't get to see what they were pinged for. And I can't even edit to tell them the issue!

Oh, good, I thought it was just something wrong with the cookies/cache or something. Glad it's not just me.

This same thing is happening to me - I can't edit at all. It SHOWS the proper edit when I click the edit button to see what happened to my edited post, but when you refresh, you see the ORIGINAL post and the original only.

I thought I'd ping you guys here so you can see what's going on. Rowan, unless this is fixed today or tomorrow, we won't be able to properly RP our solutions due to this editing issue. No teams will. Usually editing is used to add more content than what's initially allowed in each post. With this being buggy, this can prove to be a huge problem XS

It seems that this is just extreme lag. It takes an hour or so for the edit to actually show up. This has never been a problem before.

edits aren't working for me still. I can't edit my op post for my cw thread. It just doesn't show up. It shows that its been edited when i hit edit but in reality it has not . All the old content stays put like i never edited. Its been happening to me all day as well.

Edits were going properly for me a little bit ago but now I don't get them to display. If I click the edit box again the whole text is there, though ._.

Edits are working fine for me. I just edited a post and it updates as soon as I hit submit. (I'm on Ubuntu/Firefox)

Just had this while trying to fix some wonky sCode in a post. Edits didn't stick.

Edited my earlier post above. As soon as I clicked edit, it appeared. I refreshed the page, and it's back to the non-edited version. It seems this has not been fixed yet.

This is still happening for me as well (on my r200 thread)

The editing problem has hit me, too in another bugs board and this topic here is affected by the missing page error.
