So, if any people who stalk these forums visits the shoutbox, you probably have seen me flailing around about this for a few days (or weeks) with the beautiful (who is a terrible, terrible enabler giving me all sorts of ideas).

The short of it is: there was tumblr (and fic). there was hockey (and a discussion of their various attributes). and there were hedgehogs (so many hedgehogs).

Now, on to what I actually want from you, the wonderful people who are willing to spend the time to draw art for people too lazy to draw art (like me, even though I am fully capable of doing it...maybe). I want to commission a jersey based on (since I can't have an exact jersey </le cries>) my hockey team, the Chicago Blackhawks. A team, it must be noted, known not only for its gifted players, but for the fact that it is full of extremely attractive players (except during the yearly Grizzly Adams impersonation contest, AKA the Stanley Cup Playoffs). Like whoa. And now I must provide photo references in no specific order(click the links, you must): Patrick Sharp Duncan Keith (we're just going to ignore all the pictures in which he is missing teeth; not his fault [except for, you know, choosing hockey as a career]) Brent Seabrook Brandon Saad Andrew Shaw Patrick Kane Jonathan Toews

And a bunch of other absurdly attractive people. However, they are all tone-deaf, as shown by this here video.

But, not the point (at least, I think that's not the point. I kind of lost track when I went looking for pictures...). Ah, right! Jerseys.

So, since I've recently become re-obsessed with hockey (not that I ever stopped, but the NHL.com giftcards for Christmas definitely bumped that up to an extreme level), I want a CW of one. Because we are seriously lacking in the hockey-item department.

This is the Blackhawks home jersey (because every team has two [home and away] and sometimes a third [for special things], along with Winter Classic, All-Star, Team ____ Olympics, etc. So I did all the work for you): click. Specifically, this is Patrick Kane's jersey. And now we must bring up the tumblr that was mentioned briefly earlier.

On tumblr, for some reason the hockey fandom decided that if Patrick Kane were to turn into an animal, it would be a hedgehog. And thus, hedgehog!Kaner was born. And now the hedgehogs shall reappear.

I want the jersey picture above as a CW. And right now, I have some idea of what four changes will happen:

1. the logo in the middle needs to change into a hedgehog. yes, seriously.
2. switch around the black and white stripes on the arms/bottom (so black-white-black instead of white-black-white)
3. change the collar to the old lace-up one shown here (ignore the fact that this is a Pittsburgh jersey [and they are not relevant to me right now]. It's just for reference since it seems that all of the 'Hawks ones I could find are hoodies) 4.and make the eights on the sleeves black (I have no clue)

And, in accordance to the great words of Vespertine, the CI would be a hedgehog wearing a jersey.

At some later date, I will probably have the artist (whoever that may be) make a Jonathan Toews jersey with a duck on it. Because reasons.

And note: this will be a private in which I own ALL of the copies (unless I give one to Vesp). Therefore, I am 100% willing to pay extra CSC to not have to give up one of them.

That should be all (unless I want to picspam you all with more beautiful hedgehogs and hockey plays [even those who have left us]).

They don't exist, is why. Patrick Kane is perfect. And so is Jonathan Toews. And they are perfect together and no one can tell me otherwise (just like Duncs/Seabs).

I probably will. I'm getting this one first due to it being my team and also for a TC. When I have more money, I'll probably do: Pens, Flyers, Kings, Wings, and Stars. I'll be sure to let you know, though.
