Avatar likes not working?

In the news post it shows that I have 7 avatar likes since I posted this afternoon but when I go to the user dashboard it shows 0 likes for today. Do the likes in news posts not count? Just wondering.

The likes you see in the comments are comment/post likes. They are different than HA likes. :)
