I really like it and I'll be writing it in Computer Science which means that my exam will be about English (since I'm studying to be a teacher I have an exam on the subject I don't write my thesis in) plus I love my mentor. he is awesome :)

yes, I was really stressing out but I'm so glad I found my mentor and I feel really good about it. plus he is an expert on OER so that is very helpful as well.

The forum move went really well, and we are open for business! Visit the new forums HERE! Log in with your same old username and password! :)

The import of all our posts, PMs, groups went off without a hitch. :) Unfortunately, the calendar events did not import, but we will get them added again! Just so you know, a really nice and pretty layout will be coming soon, but for now there is our slightly modified default layout and nothing else.

You will notice that with the new software, we decided to eliminate most of the subforums based on a lot of feedback received from members. Hopefully there is a lot less ambiguity on where to post things. If you have any questions, please post them to this topic!

In the import, it seems to have marked all threads with posts made since March 1 as unread (regardless of if you have read them or not). When you are on the index page, there is a link in the lighter blue navigation bar that says "Mark Forums Read."

The forums on VBulletin (link) will be available in read-only mode for a little while. You can check your pings, read activity feed to see what is ACTUALLY new since your last forum visit.

Pinging on the new forums is the same, but even BETTER! When you @ and start typing, it will make user suggestions. No more having to copy because you have no idea how to spell it. LOL. The alerts system is better than on VB in my opinion, seen at top right.

You can collapse the sidebar by clicking the little 'x' in the sidebar. You can collapse forum categories (I collapse the cemetery) but clicking the '-'.

There are some features that will be eliminated and other changes as a result of the move that we will communicate to you all soon. This is still a work in progress!

We are still going to be tweaking things, so keep that in mind, but in the meantime POST AWAY! And again, if you have any questions, please post them to this topic!
