sounds like you have a good insurance guy! I hope they figure out who did it so you can get it covered.
Did you survive work?
hey! I sent you a friend request :) Also I love that unseelie elf look you have goin' on. Reminds me of a book series I adore.
I see we have a dance thread! awesome, gonna do that between drawing tonight :D
C8 What series? I'm hoping it's not what I'm thinking.
If only I could get a mask on my HA, that would be nice. I save it but it doesn't actually show up, not even an hour later :|
LMAO ! I hope not either. It doesn't sound like a good thing when you say it like that haha. Um.. Mercedes Lackey, the Bedlam Bard series that and the other one where they are in old timey england. Have you tried both the normal and the beta wardrobe? I know I had issues with the beta one last night.
Yeah, I tried both, waited almost an hour each and nothing :/
OMG, I haven't read the Bedlam Bard series since the last book came out like 10 (??) years ago. The first book was hilarious. I should reread sometime. Ugh. LOL, more books added to my reread pile and I still have a bunch of new books I haven't even touched.
I loved those books! I honestly like her older ones much better than the new ones. Some of them are still good but I feel like there are a few series that get a bit too formula-ish, where you can tell from the first chapter exactly what's going to happen. Ugh I loved those elves though. Pokes Pasgen he's my dark seelie pet, named after my favorite bad guy you love to hate in those books. xD
I guess if you still can't use them you could make a topic in Problems and Bugs and see if it's happening to anyone else ?
Crap I missed Brave and am incredibly sad now! :( Another reason The Burrito and subsequent food poisoning ruined my life this weekend. :(
Barely :( lol
Hi everyone, the Newbee Celebration is here! New activities will be released throughout the week, and do not forget that we will have the ALL DAY Newbee IRC Party on Saturday, the 28th!
It was pretty much just me at the end there so I cancelled it. I was so disappointed I ended up having Pixar movie marathon until 3AM. Problem = I left my window open all night and it was 20 degrees overnight. LMAO.
I actually got it to work, I think. Someone danced with me so I assume so.
Oh no, that sucks I am sorry! :( It seems that everyone has been so busy lately, I have mostly been in the IRC alone most of the time lately. I miss you, and everyone!
Also also, I am totally reading this weird and beautiful book right now, The Last Safe Place by Ninie Hammon. It is free on Kindle right now, and NOT PART OF A SERIES. Huzzah! We need to pick our book club book.
It's about a stalker? That's going to give me nightmares. I made myself a brand new Goodreads because my own had become a black hole and it was driving my OCD crazy. So I'm going through my books I need to read.
It is, but so much more because the stalker believes he is the evil character of the book which the stalkee wrote and that she is his soulmate and that the book she wrote is prophecy. It is weird. And awesome.
MY goodreads to read list is a hot mess and makes me want to die inside a little bit. :(
I feel your pain. My problem is that I keep buying more books and then I end up rereading something else like Harry Potter or Heroes of Olympus. I still haven't read Cinder or the first Mistborn and I have the full series bought for both . . . halp.
ME TOO! I finally synched my Kindle to the wifi yesterday and downloaded literally 14 books. Oops. And what did I do? I re-read the stupid first 3 books in the Courtlight series that I wasn'e even fond of overly the first time but I wanted something mindless!
Would either of those series be a good book club starter?
I am not sure that I want to do series books for the book club or not. But idk man
Idk because I haven't read them yet! LOL. But at least they're not 10 book series or something.
I'm trying to find some series-less books in my to read list that I can suggest.
I think that recommended Cinder to me, so it may be a great book to read.
All of the series-less books on my list are more existential philosophy/beat-era Buddhism stuff that I doubt anyone else would be interested in. Womp womp.
And I too have a bunch of reference books that I doubt anyone wants to read with me LMAO
My problem is that I don't like female main characters or people in heterosexual relationships as the main plot device, so I really have to search for books to read C;
The one thing I do like about books like Cinder is that they're based on fairy tales so I know what to expect and I end up liking all the twists and I also love steampunk so yay.
Eek everyones HA's are so gorgeous (:
I cannot believe it is basically Monday - I am not prepared to start my week, ugh. I wanna sleep for days!
Cinder is great, but it is a young adult novel and part of a series. So you have to keep that in mind going into it.

I will be in Florida the day of the all day party, but I'll attempt to stop in if my Disney/HP world stuff gives me a break :)
Yea, reference books likely have little allure. :P Oh! I just posted stuff in the irc staff forum for you, when you get a chance.
I like well written YA. Hehe
Holy crap, how FUN! Supah jealous of your vacation, but also supah sad you will miss the IRC party on Saturday!
