Okay, so let's try and make some use out of that praised, new wardrobe feature: What do you guys think needs to be changed? Shall I use that necklace or rather something else? Where is something missing? What hairstyle or wig would you use and in which colour? I find it so difficult to make those boots work. They are so harsh with all the black and the shape and theme and everything, but Ecks' colours are actually quite soft.

I agree, it is so important to speak at least English nowadays. With globalisation a lot changed and one can't expect to have all the options with only speaking one language. It's not only the internet that is based on the English language, since I have to do with the science sector I know that EVERYTHING science related is in English nowadays. You want to now the newest publications or even report something yourself? -English You want to understand guides and manuals? -English You need to correspond with anyone in any country of the world? -English

Yeah, one is really limited without at least being able to speak basic English. I know quite a few people who would even find it hard to have holidays in a foreign country because of that. I wouldn't like to miss out on all the different opportunities it brings with speaking your language.

See, one of the problems is, that our educational system is made for perfectionists. I can only say this from my personal perspective, but I witnessed that lots of German people I met throughout my life are not comfortable enough doing something until they think they are "good enough" in it.

Like "I can't sing", "I can't do math", "I can't speak English". It is a habit of not trying things due to the fear of being embarrassed. It is really common over here and people should start to understand that languages need to be practiced and that it is normal to make mistakes. That's how one learns it. It is just the fear of failure that holds a lot of people back, even the ones that have no reason whatsoever to be shy about their abilities. Even on Subeta I know some users who understand enough English to navigate the whole site, but aren't confident enough to make a single post. It makes me sad, but I do know the feeling, since I used to be just like that. I also think Germany is missing out of a lot of artists or other kind of geniuses, since people think they aren't able to do stuff anyway.

I do prefer the American and English way to deal with things, like just try it, everyone can do nearly everything.

But then again, that are only my personal experiences I am talking about. Did you experience this in a similar way, ?

And I am not to sure about England at the moment and their political view on the EU ^^ And the weather would be still as bad as over here xD

Yea...I figured I should try and get myself prepared for the next onslaught. I had a pharm exam yesterday, I have another one on friday and then the following week I have a physiology exam Monday, a clinical lab exam on wednesday and ANOTHER pharm exam on friday.

I have been trying to find a good wig via my wardrobe, but I am honestly the worst at this. It takes me a solid hour to redesign an HA...I try so many different things LOL

Well, yeah, no problem, I can tell you about skins :D There are two different kind of permanent skins, the zombie skins and the zapper skins. The Zombie skins were able to be obtained during the Survival festivities '09, '10, '11 and '12. Those were permanent, unless one took a cure. Once you took the cure, you lost your skin forever and you obviously weren't able to have more than one infection neither. At some point zapper skins were implemented. They were a feature during morostide (and maybe at some other point as well, don't ask me) and were obtained by being zapped. These can go over normal skin or over zombie skin. They can be cured as well, but you could get them back by getting zapped again next morostide. Zombie skins were always one year only, so you can see from the zombie skin which year the user got infected with it.

For the longest time, one didn't have the option to just take of the skins and put them back on later, since it wasn't possible with the site's coding. Now the new wardrobe was introduces and the HA bases were basically made into a layer, so zombies and zapped people are able to put on or take of their skins however they like to. Subeta is just starting to implement site features, where you can obtain even new skins, like there is one skin obtainable by a random event while purchasing in the Subeautique.

I for example do have the Brainrot Zombie Skin, the Galactic Skin and the Lace Skin in my wardrobe to choose from, even though I just enjoy seeing my normal skin at the moment, which I haven't been able to ever since 2010.

I really hope that there will be new zombie strains this year, and I don't see a reason against it with the new wardrobe system.

Oh, I tend to spend hours and hours in the wardrobe as well, just to decide that I am not happy enough with a design or not being willing to spend that many sP to realize it xD Take care and speak to you soon! :D

thanks for the info. I had chosen "none" or whatever it is on the skins page, and my HA was showing up as non-zombie in both versions of the wardrobe, but was still a zombie on forums. I finally just opened the old wardrobe and saved and that seemed to do the trick, when saving without my zombie skin like 3x in the beta wardrobe didn't.

Ugh, I'm very busy at work today so no time to catch up. But it's almost over :D

And, isn't it great to be able to have normal skin again? I feel like a bit of a traitor, having been a zombie since 2009, but I did cover it up now and then, so it's really no different to me. It's nice to have a nose again :P

I was wearing my wizard outfit for the past ....2 months or so. I am sure I will convert back to that one soon (: I just wanted to do a different kind of theme, maybe I was inspired by the blizzard to make an island theme type HA, heh.

On a side note everyone...is anyone else having issues with ALL of their pet profiles? None of the main images on my pet profiles will load, and I checked all the links to make sure they are still being stored and they are...did I miss a news update or something?! :(

Yea! I have creeped on other peoples pets (mostly from the recent spotlight winners) and the actual background is missing but all the other things are present.

Phew, I am glad it isn't only me! I would hate to have to go through all of my pets profiles and reformat them and such o_O

There isn't anything on the Problems/Bugs board about it yet though, I wonder if it is only temporary because they may be working on the pet pages.
