Why are the students teaching the class? I feel like that isn't really conductive for learning. See...I don't like pork, or hotdogs or sausages LOL I just get grossed out by them, I would rather have regular ol' chicken :P at least I have some sense that it is healthy for me if I cook it properly. & no, I won't be finished with my "classroom learning" until December! I don't have any breaks throughout the year!

p.s. sorry for taking a long time, the whole lack of internet at home and crazy amount of work is starting to take a toll!

That's a very common thing here.

MY guess is that professor's don't feel like teaching certain subjects so they rather assign subjects to group of students so the group can divide the subject and present about it.

It definitely leadds to not learning. On my last test there was a section about what I felt about the course (because I am done with physio (until my departmental review! YAY!) and i totally talked about how presentations by the students are not right and that if she were to looking for a think to make us work together it'd be better to make us do works or something because that's lost knowledge. (Same words but in spanish ahahaha)

I don't consciously eat pork. Tacos are very popular here and they do it on spins and prepare the meat in a special way, so at the end it's super delicious and doesn't feel like pork (not to me).And I try not to think much about sausages but I guess you'd be grossed out by "moronga". It's a piece of intestine filled with a delicious preparation of pork blood, rice and spices. I ❤️ it!

I like healthy stuff, but aren't you so hungry sometimes that you want to eat a whole (let's say) hamburguer like right away so quick? I tend to skip meals because I don't have the time/Dedication to prepare stuff for me so that leads to eating crap with lots of ease.

No breaks? No even a small one? Sounds painful :c I know we have way too many breaks in here but I feel like if we had less, I'd break. They ask a lot from us at the uni and all professors think their subjects are the only ones :P

Don't mind about the time! :D I like to know you're sstill alive and remmeber old conversations. Challenge to my bad memory and it helps ❤️ buahaha

Gah, this is why I don't go to bed early. I crashed out way too early and not only did I dream, I had insane dreams - from being stuck in a video game swinging through vines trying to get to the top tree and a monkey holding a golden banana to coming out of it and realizing that everyone I knew was also trapped in the game and they were drowning in bathtubs idek and the boss of the game had done it so I would return. Ok then.... to Liam Neeson capturing a giant saber-toothed bearcat who he said was his dead son returned to him and riding it into battle to my minnow tank having a giant gulper eel in it and it was swimming around with its mouth wide opening eating all my fish ;_;

Oh, that is good that you got to do a review of the class. The only time I feel it is appropriate for students to teach is if they have prior knowledge and even then, it should be monitored by the professor.

Eek, I am definitely grossed out by that, haha. I am not a big taco fan.

I try and prepare meals on a regular basis, but that doesn't mean I won't eat other things...like a yummy bag of chips...chips are my guilty pleasure!

& nope, no break at all. The struggle of being a graduate student...but I find that I just have to keep trekking, there is no time for me to break down :p

I personally think it's pretty weird as well. We've had to present in very few subjects during university.

Shame on the moronga :P I grew up with it so I think that if I had never knew it, I'd find it gross too! Maybe you'd love chips from here! They're all and always natural. I mean, they fry them with oil but you know that they're real real real potato chips!! I love them and they sell them everywhere in here!!

I truly admire you for your strenght. I don't think I'd easily cope with such long periods of studying!

Eh, maybe if I grew up with it, then it would be a different story. I mean, I have no problem trying new foods, but 9 times out of 10, I end up not liking them XP

It is tough...I won't lie LOL but I knew what I was signing up for when I accepted the spot in the class and this is what I want to do for a career, so I think that helps a bit to, because none of my classes are pointless (like general education classes in undergrad), I literally need to know everything they are teaching LOL
