I'm definitely enjoying the HA too! It might actually be my favorite thing. I keep changing it like 3 times a day. Right now I'm trying to create an outfit for a character of mine, to save under the 'shared outfits', since you can create an outfit that doesn't use clothes you actually have. That's why my HA's skin is kind of zombie colored right now, lol. xD

No, you can't wear items you don't own on your normal HA that everyone sees for posts, etc. But in beta wardrobe, you can click on the link that says "All items in Subeta" and then try them on in the wardrobe without owning them. You can also click the "share" button next to the preview in beta wardrobe, and it will save your avatar to your shared avatars, even if you don't have the clothes. Then you can show off the avatar to other people, or make a dream avvie that you can work towards.

I just found this out, so I've been playing around with it! I think it's a super-new feature (as in, they're still working on it some... so it might be a bit buggy? I had some bugs while I was working on mine). It's really fun for doing what I did, though, and making avatars based on characters.
