i've been looking at this and i haven't been able to duplicate it so far :/

yeah. i gave myself the event and was able to start a battle him just fine. just did it again and no problems...

the event was loaded and processed the same way, i just filtered out all the other events from being able to be chosen.

and, no, every account accesses the cache the same way. what you're talking about with seeing updates ahead of time isn't anything to do with the cache, it's just because we can have code changed on the development server before it's sent to the live site. pushing changes from the development server to the live site is actually completely independent of the cache.

well, since i couldn't duplicate whatever is going wrong with the cache here, i changed the code of the event so that it's no longer dependent on the cache. should work from now on! :)

I am going to lock this as resolved for now. If anyone gets the RE and it still does not allow them to fight, please comment me and I will open this back up!
