Ahh shooters. I do suck at those as well. I wish someone had recorded when I played Halo 2 multiplayer with my cousin or when my Dad and I tried to play Call of Duty Finest Hour. It would have been youtube hits for sure, lol. I suck at shooters but I love open world RPGs so Bethesda owns a tiny piece of my heart :)

I like the choose your own adventure stories RPGs which is why I liked Mass Effect but I'm definitely more of a story person than a gameplay one because I'm not good at the combat side. I'm decent but gaming trophies are not in my future :)

McShep was my introduction into slash fiction. I started reading gen SGA fics and then one of them had some McShep action and I was surprised and converted all at once lol. :) And I would love to trade recs with you, I troll rec sites all the time and have thus expanded my favorite pairings a lot because of it. And just bore you in private with my opinions :)

Everyone keeps telling me to see TOS, especially family members, and I will eventually. I have read some TOS fics and I've seen some of the TOS movies, Voyage Home is my favorite just for the Spock mind melding with a whale scene alone, but anyways I got lucky in that I got into the fiction a bit into it so I had a lot of choices to pick from by then.

You will like the new movie. It took me a while to see it too but it's so good. Heck it was that movie that put Benedict Cumberbatch into my fantasy celebrity harem :) Plus if you're a Doctor Who fan there's an actor in that movie who was in the Doctor Who series so yeah :)

LOL, RIGHT?! It was such a serious moment and I about died laughing in it... which sort of made me feel bad, but oh well. Oh, I much prefer them as my OTP, but it's hard to find fics for that that are plotty, so I mostly read Dean/Cas or Sam/Dean or Sam/Cas... Or any other number of incarnation. ♥

lol. Yes, Mass Effect is my only exception to shooters and, most likely, Dragon Age: Inquisition is probably one of my only exceptions to open world games (unless Bioware comes out with more I suppose). Sadly, I actually really hate open world games (mostly because they frustrate/overwhelm me to no end). I feel compelled to do everything -- every last side quest -- and open-world makes it really difficult because there are so many tedious sidequests (that are basically the exact same thing -- run here, talk to so and so, kill that, finish quest) that it makes it hard for me to finish all of them (and they seem unlimited because even the strategy guide doesn't seem to list them all) because of my ADHD I just can't seem to sit there and be entertained by it (too repetitive for me, I guess). I don't mind those kind of sidequests to an extent, but when there are hundreds of them, I just get overwhelmed and really frustrated. Not to mention I get really really really pissed off in open-world with trying to find things. I couldn't even finish a few sidequests recently in Inquisition because I couldn't GET to where I was supposed to go. The hardest one had me sitting there for two hours and practically grinding my teeth because I just COULD NOT reach it! UGH! D:

Eep, sorry for the rant. Anyway, I'm really glad you like open world if you enjoy it. My brothers like it a lot too and that's all the really matters, in my opinion. If you enjoy the game then it's worth it. That's what's most important! ♥

Yes me too! I love the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series so much because you get to actually choose the adventure, the plot is great, the characters are usually fabulous. There's so much perfect with it. I love some of the normal games too, like Darksiders or the Witcher 2 or Portal (Etc), but not quite as much as I love Mass Effect. ♥ I play those games strictly for that, and the gameplay is sort of circumstantial, though I prefer it had gameplay as opposed to being strictly a visual novel (because I can't focus on those for long periods of time either, though I really enjoyed DMMD). :)

Ohhh HP is a good fandom to start in. I love Snape as a character. I particularly like Severitus type fics. Gotta love snarky characters with a secret heart of gold, deep deep down inside (like Rodney :) ) I usually ship Harry/Draco but I have read Snape/Harry and Ron/Harry that were pretty good. I just prefer Drarry, you know. Mostly because I had/have a major crush on Tom Felton :)

I have seen a couple of fanvids, my friend recommended on for Merlin and Morgana after the series ended and I was feeling sad because my favorite character had been killed off. Which is another reason i love fanfic, the ability to ignore canon and do whatever you want :) Like with The Hobbit, ignoring the canon deaths and then focusing on Bilbo/Thorin which was totally canon if you watch movies like i do :)

I will check out the Ship's Closet because even if they never came out and blatantly said it, Kirk and Spock are thyla and definitely love each other more than just friends.

I love the Sherlock fandom. So many awesome fics in there. I haven't watched the show though, which i should. Although I've read so much fic and seen a couple of videos/read episode plots that I basically have seen the show.

I'm so behind on Doctor Who. I watched up until the first season with Matt Smith and then stopped for some reason. I don't know why I love Doctor Who. My boyfriend is majorly into Doctor Who so I should get back into it, although maybe wait going by what you said, lol.

LOL! I only have that Siren call to bring me back in very few games -- namely Dragon Age (around 20 times beaten considering 3 games) and Mass Effect (around 25 times beaten considering all 3 games). Those are the only games that I have never gotten bored of. xD Sometimes (especially in the past), I'd get bored of a game so quick I wasn't even halfway through it. In fact, Dragon age was the first game I ever finished back in 2008 or 2009. That's what brought me back into gaming and I've only just started finishing games from that point on. Course, I was diagnosed as severe ADHD when I was 4 and medicated from there onward... and right now, especially, I'm off my meds cause I can't afford it (I just moved and I really need to get a job). I love Matt Smith's version because he's so quirky, but I wasn't fond of most of the companion's from his era onward. I don't like Amy (cheater), I like Rory and River, I don't like Clara. Ugh, complicated. So I can't blame you for stopping there. Moffat's era is pretty hit or miss to be honest. I prefer the first few seasons of the show (they're Russel T. Davie's work). :)

Hehe well for me the biggest siren call is the Kingdom Hearts series of games. It wasn't the first game I played but probably the ones I became uber serious nerdy about. Like I told my boyfriend I'm a complete whore for the Kingdom hearts series and will be buying a ps4 for the third one if I need to.

Ugh poor you. My Mom ran into similar problems with her meds when we actually had good insurance. I know I'm lucky that my two main meds are generics. I had a cream I used for my acne but its not a generic and was three hundred bucks and not covered by insurance. So yeah not using that anymore.

Snape is a good character to imprint on lol. I've read two Snarry fics and both were really good. One I remember had Dumbledore trying to keep them apart because of their age difference and such but of course love conquered all lol. I usually don't read Snarry though because I identify Snape more as the father figure so it makes reading Snarry just slightly weird. Next HP tattoo means you already have some which is awesome! What do you currently have. I don't have tattoos but I think they're cool and my Dad and I watch a bunch of tattoo shows. Like Epic Ink which is all nerd tattoos all the time and totally my people. lol

And I totally did an awwww when I read about you guys cosplaying for your wedding. I think stuff like that is adorable and awesome. I'd totally make my boyfriend do that and he would probably be into it. Don't know what we would cosplay as though. I ship Merlin Arthur but that Morgana Merlin video was a good balm to my soul lol. Gawaine was my favorite knight so of course they killed him off. I was also mad that they killed off Arthur, it just seemed like such a let down after everything that had happened during the series that it ended with Merlin basically failing. So wrong in my opinion.

I will be checking out that Sherlock game on tumblr, and the other vids you mentioned too. I like the idea of translating fic to vid, a lot of fics would be good in visual form.

I just got the 2.5 remix for christmas and then realized i should play 1.5 first because there's so much awesome I'm skipping over lol So I used xmas money for 1.5 and i'm in the middle of kingdom hearts final mix. I've actually read a DuoYuy story. I should probably rec it to you because I'm sure you'd love it. It's been a while since I read it and it wasn't finished and I'll have to track it down for you but I'll give you a quick synopsis. It's a fusion fic between that Gundam series and Harry Potter. The main five or six (it has been a while and I haven't seen that Gundam yet so fuzzy details are fuzzy :) ) find Harry when he was very young and he had been extremely abused by the Dursleys and they adopt and raise him not knowing anything about magic and by the time I had finished reading it they had started learning about the magic world because Harry had just been 'rescued' (kidnapped) by the magic world people. I'll smail you the link when i track it down.

I don't read a lot of Carson is dead fics in that universe and thank God for the many authors who are also in denial with us so that we prove the SGA creators that they're mean and wrong. Well Skyfall is the most recent James Bond movie, with Daniel Craig as Bond. They got a new, younger Q, which stands for quartermaster who is really smart and slightly snarky, and they pair James and Q together and then have that trope where Q is a Holmes brother. I think the youngest but I'm not sure if that's for all of them or just the one I read.

I was really really REALLY upset when it happened to me. To be completely honest, I had a fit about it and stopped playing games on the PS2 for 3 months. Agreed, I think Catherine Tate is pretty too. I also don't think she's fat. I think most girls are honestly waaaay too thin these days. Catherine Tate looks pretty normal to me and I like that. It's good to show realistic, strong, and awesome women on TV these days. But yeah, you should watch it again, very good! While you're at it, you should check out Eleven's Christmas Special, "A Christmas Carol". It's basically my most favorite DW episode tbh, despite having Rory and Amy in it. xD

It was a great tweet! Misha is honestly fabulous and caring. Once a year, he gives out a phone number (google number?) for his fans to call him on too! He also has his own charity (The Random Acts [of kindness]) and implored his own fans to donate for the people of Hati after that disaster some years back (they raised $10,000 in the fandom via a fic/art auction in 2 days!). I just love how awesome he is and how he interacts with his fans. He also has GISHWHES that he does every year with his fans -- an international easter egg hunt and the winners of the group get a free trip to some country to spend a few days with him!

Yeah I can be a bit of a snob too when it comes to gaming graphics. I try not to be because I know if the storyline or gameplay is really good then I should just not care what the graphics look like but it does slightly factor into if I'll play the game or not. The super polygon graphics looks a little too weird to me now.

Lillith is a pretty name but yeah she was a very creepy character in SPN, lol. Lilly is a very pretty name and I'm glad you were able to choose a name that you liked and fit you better. Tara Winchester is such a cool name though. But your right it is kind of funny attached to a Gyno. Not only the Tara part but I'm sure the Winchester boys, well Dean at least, would be happy to be Gynos lol.

I wanted to change my name when I was younger. My name is Rhiannon and from go people have had problems pronouncing it and when I was really young I was just sick of people mispronouncing it and wanted to change my name to Rebecca. I love my name now though so no more Rebecca. :)

The first book is Stargate Atlantis: Rising by Sally Malcolm. I'm not sure how far they are in the series at the moment but it is pretty far.

I watched the first part of the Amok Time video and yeah I'll definitely be watching more, especially the rest of the Amok Time one. And I agree with what she said, the fight was definitely symbolic for sex. I mean he rips Kirk's shirt right at the nipple line. They could have ripped it anywhere else but they did the nipples. Not to mention everything else she talked about. I wonder if the show was written now if they would have been a gay couple because they wouldn't have had to hide that with innuendo and symbolism.

Skyfall is very good and you don't really need to see any of the other James Bond movies, it can definitely be stand alone. The villain though has got to be one of the creepiest villains in films lately though.

Awww I have fallen in love with Misha. I like celebrities who interact with their fans because they really wouldn't have fame or fortune without them and I think a lot of celebrities don't realize that. I watched something where they had the best and worst celebrities for signing autographs and Will Ferrel was the worse but Johnny Depp was the best. He'll literally stay out for hours signing autographs and it just really made me respect him.
