SAME. Not to mention that WEEKS and weeks ago we were told that this (and adding the buttons on each event to dismiss them) was being fixed... and it's not.

Sometimes it is hard to see why a bug is happening, especially when it is not happening to everyone. I am not saying this is the case but they have not forgotten! Please be patient! That being said, there is an open topic about this which I will post below. I am going to lock this as a duplicate.
