Hey guys. I'm in the process of coming up with some ideas for CWs and thought I'd get some feedback. This background is a tribute to the Blackwell game series, specifically this background. So here is the sketch I did: Thought about doing at least two versions; one similar to the reference with the night sky, and one with just the floating rocks and portal (layerable with other backgrounds). Any thoughts/suggestions? Anyone interested in seeing this finished?

That is going to look amazing! I especially like the idea of it being layerable with other backgrounds. :) I am for sure interested in seeing it finished!

I am 100% interested in both versions you mentioned. I have played quite a lot of games with broken rock walkways floating in nothing and I always loved the style!

- Thanks for the input :) I'll probably go ahead and finish the background then. And here's another question; would you be interested in layerable versions with different colored rocks? (ie natural rock, opalescent, obsidian) Or I could also do the sky separate and make them both layerable? Just random thoughts x)

Any of those colors would be awesome - I tend to lean towards magical or darker themed items, so obsidian or opalescent would be gorgeous!

Ahhhh yes. I need multiple colors of rocks nods And however you wanna do it works for me - if you want them both separate that is totally cool - I'll be buying any/all versions :)

First off - congrats on getting the shoe on site finally, you two. It looks fabulous and I still love the CI + animation. C:

Secondly, that is a super neat background sketch; I'm sure it'll be amazing when finished. I think having more options to layer it with would make it more versatile, for sure!
