minus the potions i hardly even used any this is what i took to battle

rounds 8 to 14 hit 2k to 14k per round

2.1 mil low side to 2.9 mil high side damage not bad for a under 6k health pet

I figure I did at least 10-15k damage per round, but I didn't really keep track. just a guess.

It was freezable, so it was actually possible to rake in like 50K+ for each fight. I'm guessing that if you timed your full blockers well (when she's not frozen) you can avoid being killed by the weapon that does 20K icons and extend that even more

I bought an Amulet of Neutrality yesterday, that I won't be using because I have things to do this week end instead of fighting the boss, if someone that stands a chance wants to borrow (i.e. : probably not a tier 5 pet)

Gotta say the times are pretty abysmal for the UK. It came out 4am here last night, 10pm tonight and then 5pm tomorrow.

I did about 15 battles this morning before my job interview and ugh. It's going to be extremely hard for me to fight her for long at the scheduled times. However against all the bosses I've gotten top prizes for...I have massively overkilled them haha. So maybe I'll still be in for a shot without epic grinding, Gerudo is certainly strong enough.

I think your idea of fun and mine are pretty different. It's not fun to dedicate hours to a game and steadily spend the sp you were saving and not even have a clue if you'll have anything to show for it other than some consolation prize.

If the non-battle option gets a soft cap (and it should, because cost to point ratio is pretty ridiculous and people should be aware of that going in) then battlers should too before they're tempted to stay up half the night just for something they might never get.

I don't see why it matters if people would drop off. All that means is that it would be killed slower and you wouldn't have to keep adding HP. Most would still be excited to keep participating just for a chance to land the final blow. If you turned the prizes into achievement tiers that we could see ahead of time, you'd probably have even more people participating because then we would officially have a goal. It wouldn't even matter if that goal was ridiculous. How many tiered achievements do we already have that are difficult to complete?

The "no one is making you" excuse is honestly getting pretty old. None of us would be here in the first place if we weren't interested in playing.

I have seen you say before that battling isn't very popular and you don't understand why. It baffles me that the reason doesn't occur to you when these boss fights repeatedly advertise to the entire site that most people who participate regret having wasted so much of their time on them.

You think our actions tell a different story, but what about the reactions after the end of every one of these things? Do you just shrug all of that off as whining rather than legitimate criticism? Because it seems to me that most people only keep doing them because they're clinging to the hope that it will be different this time. So long as you guys give out prizes based on a curve though, we will forever only have a handful of users who will get it because their pets will always be stronger.

so glad I didn't stay up, I would not have been able to stay up till 5am. that just is not plausible in this house. I hate how it is so late in the afternoon for the second wave. I got plans with the hubby and I don't think he will appreciate me cancelling the babysitter just so I can do some battles.

Just want to know if it's worth fighting the boss and spend tons of sp on healing. At least i can defeat all the other spirit opponents. Sadly they drop nothing at the 10th win.

I did 19 battles because of the time zone. I definitly am going to get it much more battles the next rounds. I am glad they let us know what time he will show up. I tried to freeze him as much as possible and then just used everything I had against him :P

They award top prizes to people who get a final hit (or they did in the past) or to people who come somewhere in the top damage dealt cumulatively. In the past it's been top 40, 30 and 25 for various bosses I think? I'd expect for this boss, as it's a one-off unlike Hydrogellos, there will be maybe 30-40 top prizes awarded.
