Julie Thank you. It's been a matter of "when" rather than "if" for a while now(grandma had an aneurysm last year and never really recovered much function, and my grandpa has a lung disease which the doctor had originally given him only a couple of years for, and that was a few years ago), so it's not really a surprise. But it still sucks, especially coming just a couple of weeks after having had to put one of my cats down. These are all firsts for me(losing a pet, losing close family members) so it's been tough. I mean, it's kind of a relief that my grandma is going now, rather than after my grandpa and therefore having to be put in a home or something, but for the last year it's pretty much just been hit after hit. Hoping things get better with the new year, maybe. =/

I know how that goes. I lost my father-in-law in March, he was like a dad to me for 33 years. So, yeah, it sucks.
