I still use them. I didn't have them at t10/t11, mine were anon gifts actually. in my opinion though, they are even more useful at higher tiers than they are at t5 which is what they are. by quite a bit.

If you still need help with Gate Keeper, let me say that he has two each of his collar of slavery and his deluxe death shard. Once he loses those, he can no longer freeze. Also, I find that his most troublesome weapon is, by far, his possessed bow. Blasting that will be a huge help to winning.

RotL and soma are even good in tier 13.

Another question about Soma - is it OPB? How often can you use it? I realize these may be really silly questions, many apologies :(

Soma is OPB. It is pretty much recycle blaster with a few extra perks.

soma tablets are opb. but they are the best blaster which are very handy in longer fights with a pretty good freeze proc, steal proc which is useless, and a random curse and/or blessing.

Since custom coding never applies to challengers, he cannot freeze/curse with his PoBow.

I didn't realize that was custom code, thought it was just a fixed low chance.

Kbbob is right. The battles will be frustrating and annoying but you'll get lucky and get a win. I used to hate him for BQ because I knew I could eventually beat him but depending on my parched blessing and his freezing it sometimes took a few tries for one win. Just be patient and be prepared to heal your pet a lot after each battle. It may be cheaper to buy a small health potion and then battle a weak challenger to regain your health completely

I'm guessing that Soma isn't particularly useful against nighlady, I think I remember reading she had a lot of one of her weapons?

I use somas for nightlady for the extra freeze chance, I wouldn't use it just for blasting her weapons because she has so many.

I believe soma just blasts and activates a random blessing or curse so I wouldn't say it's particularly useful. I've never used them before or found the need for them. Definitely pick up the reviver though. That will become even more useful as your health stats increase.

I still use my Soma very frequently. It's not in my default set anymore but I switch out for it enough that I'd say I use it something like 1 out of 5 battles. I use it every time I go up against Chase without fail. And I use it for battles where I NEED a blaster. I love my tablets basically, they're in my top grouping of weapons.

Yay so happy! My baby battler will be tier 6 in just 100 stats! I have a good feeling about reaching that goal by Foreside!

doubtful on any new ones, yes we should see the new CS challenger soon, my guess is maybe tonight. my guess for Rouland is the 30th some time. hopefully a bit sooner than that though..
