Nope. I'd be surprised if we see anything cool battle-related in the next year. We got a plot, they can forget battling exists for awhile.

I still think they should bring gellies back. Like, there's no effort involved in that and I can get some of those achievements that I've been too weak for in the past.

Sadly it happens. I'd like to ping and ask the BAs for any hints ... but then I remember that's bothering them so I won't. I'm sure they have SOMETHING planned right?

I hope. I cant do any battling except in BQ. I've beaten everyone I can at this point. I have to wait to get more stats to beat anyone else. I know a lot of us are in the same boat.

It would be nice to have another battle week, though granted the first one was sort of done because the Gelly War was messed up. But still the concept was fun, we got some permanent challengers from it and to fight older challengers as well. I'm all for more battle stuff, always.

It would be nice if there a few this month that were a little more challenging than the ones we had earlier.

my only freezers are Intricate Energized Helmet and Perilous Whirlpool Scroll. is all i have can you explain how to use pylonics/potions/shards? i've never used them before

K well I'd put in Rapier of Error, if she's frozen sometimes you can get a chain freeze going with that. Her blessing (the little maleria image under her health) doesn't block all freeze but it makes it more annoying to try and freeze her but it can be done. Also you can bring in your recycle blaster, if you use it while she's frozen and manage to blast one of her collars or hold and kick it might help make the battle go a little more smoothly.

Pylonics are one use items same with dark element potions and shards. You can add as many dark element potions as you want but shards and pylonics are one per pet per battle. (meaning you have to keep putting one back on if you use it after every battle)

Anyway shards block all icons but wind/ice. Meaning a Darkness Shard can block I believe 50 icons of dark, which is her most common icon type to deal out so it could help reduce the damage done to you by one or two of her weapons. Pylonics offer help during battle:

Glaciating: Chance to freeze Negating: Blocks ALL icons (think of it as a second temple shard) Revivifying: Heals 100hp (more practical for smaller pets but I sometimes use them with bigger pets in a pinch) Regenerating: Boosts your strength/defense/speed by 100. This sometimes might help give you a little more power or a little more speed to dodge her crits in a pinch.

AND Dark Element potions do 11 icons of extra damage and since you equip them they don't take up a weapon slot so you can use 2 weapons and a potion and a scroll. Same with shards and pylonics.

Whew! I just finished my last 3 wins against Mechalag. I WOULD say that it's a relief, but he was the last challenger that I could actually beat. Now, the wait for better stats and weapons.

Miss Boo is growing really nicely! At the rate you're going I'm sure there will be something for you to fight within the next week.

Thanks...and I hope so! In other news, I just now figured out how to make weapons using components. And I saw swordmaking referred to, but can't find any guides on the topic. Are any of the swords from the smithy worth making?
