or I do question as to whether or not users who fight one phase of the boss will be locked out for the next or if it is like the old system but with a break period at certain points where they fight all day.

Couldn't you have let the first stage die quickly, and used the information from that to buff her later stages? You could have drawn the battle out without cheapening the experience. It really sucks to put in work on a boss and feel like you're doing something meaningful, and then have that ripped away because lol we didn't plan for this.

this is why when we had that "suggestions for global bosses" thread, i suggested not dishing out a concrete figure for hp, but just keeping the boss up for the amount of time you have in mind. idk, just sounds easier to me.

Can we know the battle times so we can plan?

After about two hours on non-stop fighting whatever fun is dead and it just feels like a death march. Done too many of these I guess.

no worries mate ;) with my blasting i bet a 3500 to 4500 healing should let her hold health with others not hitting hard.

Especially now that we know the plan is to keep it alive for a set number of hours. Why bother training our pets? Let's just make a pact as a community to stop right here. :P

They'll know exactly how much HP to give the boss each time, and we'll get the same prizes for the same amount of work. Win/win! :D

Oh, dear God, no. An all nighter again? I mean, I can do it, I'm free as a bird an stubborn as a mule, but we had a board to discuss and propose new ways of doing this boss battles. And I'm not seeing a lot of improvement here. :/

Anyone know if you're allowed to battle AND quest for Connor to do damage or are you only allowed one or the other?

I've been doing both, but the quests are like an hour unless you wanna spend a ton on fire items

I did a quest for Connor, but it was too expensive. Then you have to give the items to Mathis and you have to wait 59 minutes, or give him a lot of "fire" items to reduce the waiting. For me, not worth it.
