Apparently if you click on the Back to Battle quest button quickly enough, you can cause it to glitch, and skip a couple levels of quests, but you don't get any EXP.

So be careful how you click :P

Oh wow. That sucks. Maybe you should make a ticket/post in bugs? Or try to make it happen again? Then do those things.

I think it was from lv 4 to 7 so it wasn't a ton of EXP, not really worth explaining, and having them figure out how to add EXP.

That was me repeating it. The other day when I thought that they had changed the EXP on BQs, I probably clicked through too quick.

I'm using a bookmark of the start new BQ button to click through the item page, without needing to let the entire page load. If I make a bug report they might kill my link :P
