I'm not having The Blah. I've been so busy at work that I only have one hour or so to play Subeta each day. I'm really struggling to get my BQs and other daily things done every day.
I do wish they'd give us an update about speed though. I've only beaten the island 4 times, and with all the exp that I have saved now I could definitely get in a fifth win and get that fancy scroll. But as long as nothing is known about speed, I'm not sure how to distribute my stats. I don't want to spend my exp now only to end up trying to boost speed like crazy tomorrow.
I really just want some kind of mini event or mini plot or something to happen. I will pass a little time later when I can do my BQs can't do them right now. But hell after that it's back to boring. [edit] You Won! You have defeated Unstable Snow Fairy Lhyven earned 3500 EXP Points!
He got all 30 again and only had to skip once.

For you experienced battlers, what do you think would make speed worth as much as the other stats (str, def) and make you want to boost it a ton? What would it have to do, any ideas?

8 amulets turned in... all shards. That makes about 17 amulets turned in within the last 3 days and all I've gotten is shards. Go rot Mage. .__.

I really hope they remove it from the cap, give it its own cap, and possibly make it do a bit of damage also, while keeping the outspeeding thing. also I would like enemies to not scale in their speed.
congrats on the bqs again! lame mage though :(
10/10 Quentin quests; got 3 amulets.
Drama or llama? I'll take the llama :D
- Congrats, that's a decent return rate, I usually only get 1 or 2 in 15 quests!
- I would like speed to make a difference in how much damage you can do, like a pet with 2000 att and 1000 speed would do X amount of damage, and a pet with 2000 att and 2000 would do X x 1.05 damage or something, I'm sure some sort of formula or modifier could be worked out to make speed mean more in output damage for more than just crit rate.
Thanks. It was enough EXP to get his remaining stats to 2700. I'm pleased he's getting stronger by the day. But it seems the Mage wants to hinder us.
Oh yay congrats on your amulets. :D

not scaling speed? wouldn't that be a little too much, or do you have a specific reason behind it? Other than that the rest of what you said makes sense to me. Although if speed ends up playing a role in damage, I can understand keeping it in the cap.
But yeah, speed doing some damage would be cool :P They could justify it by saying that the faster your pet is the faster they can run at the opponent/swing a weapon / whatever, thus exerting more force, and more force = more damage? idk :P

speed already does a lot of damage

They wouldn't need to justify it :p Enemies that have scaling speed are annoying, it makes avoiding crits annoying at high wins and if speed were to be capped, enemies would probably scale over the cap
Speed kills, drive 25
Nothing from job agency, and silver laurel from Shinwa
But it does. It doubles my damage fairly often, even against the Impossible challengers. If they make the changes they are considering, among which leaving speed static, speed will be very valuable.
