Thanks for that guys! It was actually your conversation, , on 's board about Tier challengers that prompted the question. Was reading about your health build early and it sounded interesting. Plus you were kicking the butts of challengers I didn't beat until higher tiers, so I was curious if it was build or set strategy I was lacking in. Your strategy sounds really interesting. I think I'd like to try something similar with some of my new secondary battlers I'm starting up. That being said, until Daigeil hits Tier 13 it's a little moot because I devote all the BQs to him until then. The others I'm just whacking in the training centre for now. Clearly there are a bunch of different approaches. I was working towards the 2k stats suggested on even before branching out with my first battler, but thought I'd ask and see where others stood! As battlers our big love on Subeta is our pets, so there's some overlap when it comes to pet art and battle.

it's always a bit intimidating going into a part of the site you've never ventured in before :p but yes, battlers spend more on their pets than probably any other part of the site o_o there are probably exceptions, but still.

At least some of my wins are due to rare weapons and scrolls(Trident, Benevolent Grenade, Pcutlass, Turboheater, 6 combo legends, TA scroll, GoTF, 4 Morosbane, ect) that I have, as well as some spreadsheets I have set up to plan ahead, and see if I add 100 stats to HP what will be the effect vs 100 Stats to DEF.

650 Defense actually works out to be a very efficient defense for Tier 7, because it allows the 50 icon blockers like Turbo Heater/Pirate Cutlass/Pande/Igni to act as 100% blockers against opponents where they are relavent (like slaglord, surge, and a couple others), so it ends up not making a lot of sense for me to train DEF again for a while. I think DEF is going to end up being a very end game stat, because I should start to get crit hit much more often, so I will probably start to train it again at 3000HP/1500STR/650DEF, then train to 3000/2000/2000, then to 10000/2000/2000, and decide from there how to move forward from there.

Thank you for that - very interesting to read. I have no great mind for maths but I find it fascinating - one of the things I like about battling if I could just spend the time to wrap my head around it fully. I see complicated spreadsheets in my immediate future ;)
