I still think slabby is worse. Win 2 on slab was probably about as hard as win 4 against the mutant. Other than my first few tries against mutant before I started trying seriously, I think I had two losses in my first three wins, a few on my fourth, and like 100 for my fifth. I probably have more losses against meaty and I just have two wins xD

I guess I knew what to expect with Meatslab, I had been listening to other people mention what they had used against him and I only needed to borrow a single weapon to get my 4 wins. With Mutant Scientist there wasn't much to go on. I still had to borrow an ME for the last 2 wins but -shrug- it's fine. Everyone has their bane when it comes to challengers.

I guess mutant is more luck based so if you have higher stats, she's still so difficult. If you have higher stats against the headless dude, he's much more manageable. That is my guess anyway. Switching to defense mode helped a lot for mutant though, that 12% heal :p

Funny thing was I had the right stats for Slab but apparently my HP was on the low side when taking him on. Still did quite alright, really 4 losses for 5 wins... I didn't expect that. Unlike with Careap(i)er. Soooo many losses to get to 5. But hey it's all well and good. New weapons in my armory and some achievements out of the way. Nice thing about the Slab is all those tomes he drops, helped a lot.

The tomes will be nice xD Hp helps a lot just because you heal more each turn so you can survive more hits.

Careapier is all luck. Your hp doesn't need to be so high, just chain freeze and get lucky.

Your hp was what, 5-5.5k? Sounds pretty good compared to me xD 4 losses is very good. I forfeit a lot against him though but even then I have a ton of real losses.

I've taken to using both blasters on my first turn with a cobalt, makes forfeitting more efficient

HP at the time was about 5600 or something. It was on the low side. I guess it's my own fault I focus on 6 pets but more so on 4 of them more carefully. I just don't want to cap my main battler any time soon. Even if the cap is being raised I just want to be careful with how his final stats end up so it's kinda why I have a tier 11, 9, and 8 right now who still get quite a bit of attention.

I try and use one blaster for the first 2 turns just so I can heal and try and do a little damage at the same time. Doesn't always help but it's just what I've gotten used to.

I blasted that way too, but I usually don't lose much hp the first turn with both, if I do, I just forfeit xD

That hp is much higher than mine is, almost 1k more. No wonder I'm having trouble :p

When it pops up first turn or you get frozen first turn, just forfeit. Thay's what I did xD
