I don't think it's too surprising regarding trident+ME. UltimateFriend got her first win on her using trident+paintbrush blades. I personally find her harder than Meatslab, although it is mainly her potential for nastiness that is scary as opposed to her typical results.

Battling is so much less stressful when you're not paying attention. :p Ended with very nearly full health too. I swear I did over 200k damage in that fight though. Seemed like every other turn she was healing for 9%.

That would actually be super helpful! I got win 1 with Trident + PoBow, then borrowed and Ostaff and Natasha for wins 2 and 3, but it felt like I hit a brick wall at that point. [edit] Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not sure I did borrow a Natasha. I do know I had an Ostaff though.

double crits make the world go round. last night i was having an extremely frustrating time against prod, then suddenly kolja deals 5k+ in damage and completely turned the battle around. i don't know what i did before crit tears

no kidding! prod's crits are such overkill sometimes (really? 7k damage? REALLY?) that i feel i deserve to be the one dealing heavy damage from time to time

This is what I used:

Cronus blade (mods: 4 singed) Natasha (mods: 1 parched, 2 singed, 1 crit) OHS (mods: 3 parched) ME (mods: 3 parched, 1 singed) P-Quill RotL Soma Mecha

Scrolls: TA Sanct x3+ Cobalt Eternal Spacial abyss x3+ Lucky Gale Force Shriek of Despair

(Note that the plus signs mean scrolls I should have fit more of)

I would start my fights with cronus blade+mecha+shriek. I would then follow the freeze around with cronus blade+soma. You will want to use cronus as much as possible while the castle is still weak, as to inflict more damage and boost yourself more (probably paired with OHS, though Natasha could work for when it hasn't boosted significantly yet). After enough boosting has gone on, you will want to swap out cronus and use Natasha+OHS as your main weapon combo. During the sanct/spacial abyss rounds, you will want to use ME+cronus blade. In fact, ME is here to patch up holes in their defenses (it is a clutch weapon of sorts).

Let me say that if you do not have both P-Quill and RotL by the time the castle drops below 20K health, you probably will not win this fight. You will preferably want soma to blast either Rally Call of the King, Catapult Launch, or Wizened Wizard as to slow down the pace of the castle.

Cronus Blade, huh? Gotta admit I never thought of boosting before its damage got too high. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

You created a Spacial Abyss Scroll! So now I have two of those. I don't own a single Sanct though. :/ Really wishing they'd unretire those ingredients; there's really no reason for Sancts to be so unavailable. Lucky scroll...that's weird, apparently I haven't even fought the second Careaper a single time. Lucky me, he'll be here Friday and I already took off work for my birthday, so I'll have plenty of time to get that done.
