I'm still trying to figure out a strategy to beat Captain Fishbreath Jacques, King of the Seas with Apheros. Already tried using weapons that blocked a good portion of his two main icons but I still haven't had any luck.

Well this was a nice surprise and very welcome. Ah memories... even though during the old plot I fight WITH the pirates lol.

I fought with the pirates as well. So it's a lot of fun being able to battle the pirates again & use them to take out my frustration with trying to snag anything from The Freyalise.

Wish I could figure out which weapons to use against Captain Fishbreath Jacques. So far I've tried using my since it blocks a lot of air which seems to be one of his more frequent icons.

Bwa ha ha haa! That thing does much less protection than your Scroll and Hat does. Go ahead and use it, sucka.

Lucent Barrier the scroll does a nice block of Dark. All the other weapons I can think of are t7 for some reason.
