Wow, last time I tried he (it?) gave me such a pounding, I didn't think I could get more wins in without some serious weapon upgrades. Seems I was wrong.

So this month's theme is the Sacred Lands. I was looking over that part of the map and really we have a lot of /battle/ related stuff there. Even though it's been said this is NOT a battle themed month there's /still/ a chance that more battle related stuff could be done. This is what they can work with all month:

-Battle Coliseum -Oracle Quests -Healer -Shinwa Quests -Spells Galore -Wizard Quests (lol battle the old wizard or Luna... I know not gonna happen but it's funny)

So most likely not EVERYTHING is going to be looked at but there's quite a lot they can do with that theme. Did not realize we had so much there that's battle/pet stat related.

Maybe do something related to the scrolls?

1. More scrolls In the secluded shrine or gentech combos.

2. BETTER level 5 scrolls There are only a few worth using, as godly and semigodly battle scrolls outclass most of them to shame.

3. Make the ingredients easier to obtain The Bottled Hatred is retired and 17m each! Unretire it! Other ingredients like River Mud is also really expensive because Merana asks for spell ingredients for Hydrus pets.

4. Scroll library We can dream ;)

Yes to all of that... it would be amazing, especially number 4! I also agree with the retired scroll ingredients... they've been at their peak.... it's O.K. to unretire them now... I get they don't want scrolls to lose their value but come on!

Also bring out the Steele excavation plot challengers for a limited time? I can't remember all of them, but they were stone this and that. Wiped off the battle wins log a while ago because of an earlier reset. Easier challengers that more people can do battles with.

I agree we need more bottles hatred released. It feels like staff have an unreasonable expectation as to how much Sancts and that level 5 wind scroll should be worth. Heck, more level 4 scrolls would be nice. Maybe something similar to perilous whirlpool/arctic braver/typhoon of valor, but with different icon types, like maybe water or earth or light. Congrats on finishing item hunt.

Yes, we're lacking in those challengers. I wonder why they did not release them during BQs too... it would be nice to see those guys again, even if we saw a few of them during 2013's battle week (and then what... 1-2 during the 10th anniversary battle day?) Still there was a lot of challengers not to mention there are STILL so many more they could add or bring back. Still holding out for a revival of the Pirate/Islander challengers.

Nice to get that out of the way. He had 5 battles to go the day before last and got 3 amulets but the last 2 battles yielded nothing. But it's fine, come the reset he'll have a fresh chance.

Anyone else holding out hope that we'll at least get some solid numbers for the cap raise before the challenger reset?

I'd really like to be able to plan out my build and my booster use before hand >.<

I am also curious to see if they are changing the loot for some opponents, especially since any loot (but most importantly IMP loot) will more than double in the next week, not that it's necessarily an issue. I also really think some higher end opponents should drop consumable (in relation to battling) loot, whether it is mod crystals, scroll ingredients, etc).

I was wondering the same thing about loot, but I think for that I'd rather wait and see than be told ahead of time, mostly because I don't want to know if I'm missing out on a last chance at some doubles with my secondary pet. More consumables sounds nice as well, perhaps having retired spell ingredients being a rare chance drop. I'm also really hoping for a mod comparable to parched blessing, I mean in reality we only have 3/4/(5 for water bags for forj I guess). And pretty much if the opponent freezes you either stack parched bags alone or some of them in combination with singed/crits as well. I don't want to see anything more powerful than parched, but something on par or maybe an icon less, with just different icon types. (seriously I'm so sick of nearly every weapon having water icons either explicitly or from parched)
