Actually, for a while I kept thinking it would be nice, if they gave us just another 1k cap raise, so everybody could even out their stats with the masses of hoarded XP.

But, erm, yeah, when they promised us a raise when the first one was put in place, they never said we wouldn't be able to use (the rest of) our XP.

I bet nobody would have cared to go beyond a 5th win with capped pets instead of fighting more with the smaller ones, esp during events.

Now we're crawling to another ugly set of numbers.

Yeah it makes me wonder because when they say they don't want people to hit it as soon as it's out...so it can't be that high really? I'm just annoyed because now I'm stuck with 45k I can't do anything with - why not let us at least BQ with a capped pet until the end of the month so that we can at least even out the exp and actually be able to use it? =/

that's what I said in the comments, it's aggravating the situation by not letting us round up our existing XP to the next 100k. That would have been feasible with 2 weeks of BQ or more regular fighting. I can't see any reasoning behind that stupid decision. As if they weren't hurting us enough. But they enjoy doing that to us. As said before, it's been like that through all the BC changes over the years: People with strong pets and top weapons, aka those, who invested the most (time, sP, dedication, and most probably real money)get f...ed over.

I have 49k left on my main, only 5k on my second. But I had a hunch and never capped her, so I can use this rest on level at least, since after all we're back in the training center again after the raise.

That's actually a good point! I might just use some health leech and use the 45k on level I didn't even think of that xD I did notice that battlers get shafted at every opportunity though, That's why with the other pets I'm training, I'm not even going to bother wasting sP on boosting because really, what's the point?! Just to fall to another dead end lol

I had 350K on on pet , so I just uncapped her quick so I can throw her into BQs for a couple of days.

That would have been a good idea too xD

I just sucked out some health and used her exp on level then the last putting her health back

Well I can say for sure that I would have. Going for win 6 on baenwurath was sheerly for the thrill of the victory so to speak :P. Plus there's also tokens which can be traded down to boosters for lower pets.

That's true about boosting in a way, unless you're interested in having multiple battle pets or being able to beat challengers as soon as they're available. Especially with getting xp on challengers even after win 10. But some people will always be in a rush to get to the top. That'll be me x1.5 :P.

I was like that with Illy - I was in such a rush to cap her (though I have no idea why now that I'm actually capped....) that, tbh, I didn't even really 'enjoy' battling with her and I don't remember any of her big accomplishments :( Now though, I'm training Xerses and I'm doing it slowly with BQ's and the training center. The only boosters he's had is whatever I get from shinwa or if the mage is nice to me (so rare!) and I'm really loving battling with him and I'm taking more time to notice his accomplishments, Like you don't even know how excited I got the other week when I could FINALLY beat the hustler with him and the other day when he hit 1k evens. I missed all that stuff with Illy

(sorry for the double ping before o.O not sure how that happened) I definitely got more excited for my second pets accomplishments as well, but I'm also looking forward to him being capped (though now that'll mean the new cap) so I can start working on my third. But battling is the thing I enjoy most on subeta :P.

It's alright :p It's like having your first kid - your so scared your gonna screw everything up that you miss the big things. The second time on anything is always easier (and funner imo, like breaking bad....SOOO much better second time watching...weird analogy but heh xD) I like too many things on subeta. Which is probably why I'm always broke ;-; lol

in other news, I know that people don't read news posts or skimp over it, so the note on the BQ front page is probably totally necessary, but my goodness is it ugly!

I have no kids either. But I can imagine lol xD That's how I noticed I couldn't gain more exp with Illy because it totally went over my head on the news post - necessary but yeah, hideous. Hopefully we can learn to block it out over the next few weeks! :p I'm really hoping that this big surprise is default sets for different pets -even more than a scroll library- because right now, Xerses can only beat up to level 20 but when the cap is raised, I'll want to battle with Illy from 20-30 but switching out the weapons everyday is going to get old fast :(

so do we still get the tokens if we use are tier 12 pet for the last BQ levels ?

Yeah we did before the revamp, Usually I'd get like 100k a day - all helps for training so it sucks it was taken away. Although it was probably good for the economy somehow? =/

at least i was not losing my mind... yes it sure did as trying to save for really good weapons dont come cheap. and yes sure helped in training sigh...dont know how its so easy to spend it here in seconds...
