Ok, now that I see Nightshade on an almost daily basis, this is bothering me. So he disables defence right, but on opponents who disable healing, if your weapon has a heal, the heal just doesn't show up in the side bar, so why do weapons still show their defence icons when defence is disabled? I feel like they shouldn't. It's confusing that it does. Like you use your 100% heal on a no heal opponent that you didn't know was no heal, and you are like what happened, you can go back and look in the sidebar and see that your PQuill in fact did nothing, but if you use a 100% blocker and then get damaged, it still shows up as having done a full block, even though it in fact did nothing.

Also... more defence disabled opponents anyone?

Pretty sure Uilliff also has defense disabled. Its a CS challenger.

I'm surprised noone else figured out that you could beat him with a Tier 5 pet using STS + RV.

- I actually didn't see him use a spork at all while trying to get 5 wins with my T8s, I kept using my STS and RV hoping that I might get lucky, but he wouldn't use it.

yeahh only reason i noticed was because i used a STS and a PQ, and wondered how damaged got through.

I agree though, i wish there'd be some sort of indication. I also hate going in blind with no prior notice, unless someone mentions it on here or i find out myself .

I never even tried that method because I think I've only seen the Hustler use his spork a total of 2 times for the whole past year.

Oh, I would get sporked every 5 battles it seemed in the previous 2 weeks (not usually on the turns I used STS/RV though :p).

I think he still has it. Though, wouldn't STS alone plus anything that is likely to do at least 30 points of damage to him be enough to kill him?

, ya, but then you need to have him use it on the first turn. The more you have, the better your odds.

He has access to what 30ish weapons? 2/30 shot of using it first turn.

I ask because the other day when I fought him outside of BQs, 3/8 battles ended in spork related ties. And today I have gone ~30-50 4-6 round battles without seeing a spork at all.

That is true. It still is technically possible to beat him with a tier 4 when you are willing to take a ton of losses.

I'm so hyped, I can finally comfortably beat Felibot, FishBreath and Slavam.

Though Wyvern, Hustler and one of the old storm bosses are ones that can ruin my run to lvl 25. I think they're just too strong for me (guh, their atk), even if I hunted down weaps/spells specifically for them. I'm closet to being able to beat Wyvern (got him down to ~800 HP0, but he's just too much of a hard hitter, with 3 different elements he hits hardest with. sigh I'm currently ~900 for every stat.

I am also excited because I'm sort of half-way to T8 and will finally be able to change my trident to its blessed form and use my poor Malice after years of neglect.

did some boosting yesterday, and silly me forgot to copy what I was starting with. oh well. But I did gain 3 AP and You've earned the High Level achievement! (x1700) and You've earned the Speedy achievement! (x3500)

now I need to keep a really close eye on speed....don't want it getting up high super fast. at least now we have those leeches that will help in case it goes to high for my liking to fast.

I'd like to get some more wins out of the way today but I've been focusing on my T11s and now I need to switch back to working with my T3s on through to my T7. (Vaako's getting closer to being maxed out and Sishean is in a holding pattern waiting for Ice King to show up a couple more times so he can get his 4th and 5th wins.) Cause is going first because I want to see how much closer I can get him to T6; he's 188 core stats away right now. Unfortunately that means I've got some work to do before I can even begin battling. -deep sigh-

i was lucky enough to have the hustler use the spork on first round once last week. manage to freeze him as well. i survived the battle unharmed :) i was shocked at first, as in did i crit that much??

but that was it. never been lucky enough anymore to get the spork on first round or survive the second round :(
