I think I've come to the same conclusion re the trident vs swash :P The extra heal on the swash is nice, but the trident's blessing is probably one the best out there. o well, at least we're not short on wind blockers. :P (sorry for the ping I shouldn't internet before 9am orz)

I used trident, pstaff, recycle blaster, soma tablets, shinwas temple shard, pquill and reviver of the lion

along with a holy deluge scroll too. and water pylonics like crazy. maybe I was just not getting lucky with my blasts.
