is Freezing Baguette Crystal and Freezing Tear Crystal actually able to freeze or just a mockery to freezing? i felt like i fall into a trap after they didn't freeze in long battles with Dark Cloud Sylph. i battle a few losing battles for hours until i finally gave up and skip, but i get Dark Cloud Sylph again. i only get freeze in rounds when i use death delusion, so i'm being skeptical about Freezing Baguette Crystal. and i only get one or two freeze in all battle combined.

i know that a lot of guides and posts say that they are useless, but i'm really impressed by how useless they are. haha.

The odds are very, very low. I think tear has a 1% chance and baguette has a 2% chance.

They are literally useless to have on a regular weapon. The only use I have found for them is on once per battle items like RotL and AoN where the freeze doesn't matter, its just a nice extra when it happens, since other mods are almost a waste. An attack mod is likely to be blocked unless it's stacking with whatever weapon you happen to be using, and curse/bless mods are likely to already be activated.

It is pretty cool when it does activate since you tend to forget they're even there. It can really be clutch sometimes. It's meant the difference between ending with full hp or not for me on more than one occasion.

As crystals go i'd say people only normally go critical, parched or singed. As the rates or usefulness of other crystals isn't worth it.

Q gave me amulets today so I took those and my little pile from previous Q-quests to the Shardmaker and he gave me a shard for each one!

It's been forever since I've actually been able to be a part of this chat (full time school and almost full time work will do it to you :/ ). I'm really happy with the new Battle Quest changes though, and with the CSC sale I was able to stock pile enough to keep my pets in autotraining for a few weeks.

Do you guys use your Loyalty Boxes for the pet stats? I've been thinking about what to do with mine (I've had it for 8 1/2 months now) but I don't know what I want to do with it yet. My pet is only Tier 5 right now so I don't know if it's a little early to use it on him (since it would bring him to level 240 and close to the next timing tier) or if it's even a worthwhile option at all.

I wouldn't use a loyalty box at t5 for stats. I used mine the past two years for the GA. 'Course that was when GAs made a difference in BQs. /shrug

It didn't really seem worth it to use it on stats which is part of the reason I asked. In the past I had always wanted them for pet slots but I have 13 right now and I'm about to downsize to 7 pets except for one pet I'm zapping it's like they're all colored the way I want them, they're all named the way I want them, I have the username I want etc. I'd use the GA if I wasn't on and off so much with school nowadays. That's probably why I've been sitting on it for over 8 months now.
