Posts like that always scare me, because then I'm worried maybe I have stuff that I borrowed and forgot about, and I start thinking, "Where -DID- such and such weapon come from...?" I seriously have no idea how I acquired my STS. When I first started battling I was sad about how expensive they were, but randomly found one in my hoarding shop when I made a "just for the heck of it" account search for it. I must have gotten it in a giveaway or the free shop or something, but have no memory of it.

Yeah I got a few lucky freezes in so I got my first win a bit early against him :p Got my second win last night but a third may be tough

they only did what the complainers ask for take it off of BQ. now if the complainers thought it through they would have seen that you can't take off of 1 without taking off the other. I hope they put it back it is a pain not having any links back to battle again.

Haha I love the irony of this. As a """complainer""" and active battler of course I only wanted them removed from BQs. It was annoying to have the massive 'Battle Quests' button adjacent to the 'Fight this Opponent Again' button. Before the revamp it was fine - the links were far enough apart that you wouldn't accidentally find yourself attempting win 11 on Prodigy - but with the revamp it was incredibly easy to misclick.

I'd rather them add the links again for both battle quests and regular challenges if they're necessary for regular challenges. But the ideal solution is obviously to only have 'Battle Quests' for Battle Quests and 'Fight this Opponent Again' for regular challenges.

BQs are still pretty messy stylistically, though. The superfluous item page is the worst offender - so strange to have EXP on one page, item on a second page and then new quests on a third page. Feels like a prime example of Subeta being designed by those who don't actually play the site.

Nah I haven't used it, I'm a little skeptical of that potential negative gain and I'm thinking if I sell it I can actually buy things I need like scrolls and scroll ingredients. Also, I kinda just hoard stat increasers for the time when I can't use the training center any more. The smart thing would be to just use them and then earn more, but...lol Not sure why I'm so interested in hoarding rather than using.

So are you close to beating Prod, or is it going to be a bit of a slog still?

Today, I found out that GE not only appears as a challenger in quests 26-29 of the new BQs, but also as a potential level 25 boss (which is where I feel he belongs).

Wouldn't it be great if some of the BQ opponents changed every month AND at the end of every month we'd have a chance to battle them outside of BQs for their loot? Or am I the only one dreaming of that possibility?

That would actually be kind of cool. Personally, I like the idea of fighting old challengers even without loot (more as a means of getting revenge on opponents I couldn't beat back when UltimateFriend was just a puppy).

My pet is stuck. The Battle place says it is in a battle but he already won...

Here's 2 ways to try and fix that:

Try going into battle with another pet, you should get an error and a link that will take you to the battle so you can try and finish.

If that doesn't work go to your statistics page in the Battle Coliseum and look for your battle pet, there should be a link to finish the battle or forfeit.

I will do them when I get home :p
