Well I called this morning to let them know I wasn't feeling well, so they shortened my shift for me, but we don't have a lot of front desk staff so if I don't work there's really no one else who can. xP

Oh, makes sense. Being short staffed sucks when you just don't feel like working, but at least it means you're gonna get decent hours, usually :) Are you happy with the hours you usually get now?

No, not really, lol. I work 3 evenings a week and all day Sunday. It's changing up in about a month, though!

Not really, no. They gave me a really crappy schedule and then a girl got fired so I had to take over every Sunday... we used to swap on and off.

In a month my manager goes on mat leave so we've swapped up my schedule. I'll be closing Wednesdays and Fridays, working til 6 Thursdays and work all day Saturdays

That still sounds like a lot of closing and weekend days. Hopefully they're planning to hire someone... if they're already understaffed and about to lose a fulltime person...

They're not, really. It's a little frustrating and unfortunately that new schedule is better than the one I work now!

Better is better, I guess. Though if they aren't hiring anyone else, that seems like it could be a problem if you need time off or something. Maybe they'll rethink it once she's actually gone.

The esthetics department was totally overstaffed. Still is! But front desk is short. It's stupid xP

I bought a few upgrades for my pet, including a really neat scroll, so I'm able to beat a few new challengers.

Yeah hope it's gone by the weekend! I'm trying to get out of work completely for the night if I can so I can just have a completely lazy day.. but it's not looking promising.

Upgrades as in: weapons? Scrolls can make a whole world of difference. I would suggest getting a , it has healing and makes a pretty big difference :)

How far can you get with battling now?

I just bought a morosbane scroll which does a 40 attack and 300hp heal once per battle, it's great for that moment when I'm almost beat, but need one big attack to finish off an enemy. For me 300 is pretty close to a full heal, too. It's 15 AP, so I had to spend 3m on books to equip it, though :P I'm using soothing current, which is an 8% heal, as well :) Also upgraded to a 100% freezer. I'm still deciding on which attackers I want to upgrade to, though.

I can usually get through to level 15 in BQ now, and can beat most of the hard level enemies.

Morosbane is pretty sweet, i got one as well :D I feel you on the buying books, when I got Ilona and wanted to make her battle ready with my usual scrolls I needed 39 AP and she had only 100 books read.

My main attacker is a trident of the banished, but it's pretty expensive right now so that might not be the way to go.

Up to 15 is pretty good :D That's quite a bit of xp already!

I've read all the books up to 100k already :O I was shocked how easy it is to run out of cheap books. Soon training intel will be cheapest through stat boosters.

I'm only tier 4, so these are the items I'm looking at: I'm still using an old tier weapon (sacrificial spork) so I really want something new. The last one isn't for sale in user shops though :(

Yep, the XP is awesome. I'm getting 15 or so stats each day :)

There was one user selling 2, each for 20 mil. I debated for a week or two whether it would be worth it, but when one was sold, I decided to just buy the last one, so I wouldn't regret not getting it when I had a chance :P
