I feel kind of numb. The idea that this huge part of my childhood could be... gone is kind of terrible. I'm kind of annoyed, actually, that a company would purchase the site just to shut it down. It's not computing.

I'm glad I'm not super active there right now, or I don't know how I'd feel.

Its not for sure that they're closing.. just seems like they're moving in a different direction and didn't need the artist to move forward with them

I don't know! I haven't been there in months, though, really.. so it's not a huge loss for me.

I've just been back on the site this weekend, and was starting to remember what I missed about it (it's still crazy slow, though). If it does go mobile, it'll be a huge shift. They'll be doing away with flash games, and most likely wearables/customization. Even though I'm not very active, it's a lot to process, just because it's been a huge part of my life on and off for 13 years :(

It has been a long time! It just lost its way over the years. Honestly, they could take a page from subeta. Issues are handled quickly on here, and they give out all kinds of compensation when anything does go wrong, so no one even cares or complains.

EDIT: Exactly, seems less special when you've been doing it your whole life.

Oh yes, cleaning. I've been working on it steadily and just seem to find more and more things that need to be done as the dust bunnies attack D: I have family visiting tomorrow so I'm trying to do the last minute cleaning. ;-; I really should do this proper cleaning more often.
