They DID win. I've been two 3 games and haven't witnessed a win yet, so it was nice to see! I'm home now, yeah. We did the long drive back yesterday.. got home around 10:45. How was your weekend?

It's always exciting when the home team wins - there's a certain energy that isn't there at a losing game. I imagine since they're riding high right now it's especially fun to attend a game. My parents went to the 11th winning-streak game a bit ago and said it was packed.

My weekend was good! I went out hiking. We went to a Hamilton trail with some waterfalls on the path. There's some pretty neat things out there not so far from home when you go looking :)

If money isn't an issue, I can see why you'd want some free-time back :) How many years of school do you have left?

Nothing too exciting in my world. Same old work stuff. We have some interns at work now, which is nice - less work for me, and I like telling people what to do, haha :P

I don't follow baseball super closely, but from what my dad and brother-in-law were telling me, they haven't been doing this well this late in the season since 1993.. so they're due for a good run xD

Sounds like fun! We have a ton of trails like that around here as well. It's going up to 33 today and going to feel like 40. Ick. I'm meeting a co-worker at the beach around lunch time though.. cool off a bit and catch some rays xD

I don't follow baseball that much either. I used to play when I was a kid, so I know all the rules and I've watched a handful of live games here and there, but the jays aren't usually on my radar. My parents are very much into watching all the games (usually on TV) so I hear about it from them :P And yeah, the last time they did this well they won the world series!

I think most people will be happy if they're even contenders in the playoffs :) It seems to much to hope for an outright win. Though Toronto is due for sure. We haven't had a hometown team win any sporting event since they last won the world series!

GUYS, I HAVE AN INTERVIEW ON WEDNESDAY!!

I went to the only two daycares we have in this small town today, and turned in a resume and brought my portfolio binders from my practicum experiences. The first place called me before I even got back home and asked me if Wednesday would work! They said it would be a substitute position starting out, but I could work up from there. Whereas it's not ideal, it's a start! At the second place, the owner wasn't there, so one of the ladies asked me if I would like to leave my portfolios with my resume for her, and I did. I told them I would be back to collect them tomorrow, so I'm hopeful for that place, as well. ALSO There's a few more daycares just across the river, about 10-15 minutes away, so I'm going to them tomorrow. I'm so hopeful :)
