Thanks. I CAN'T ESCAPE IT! Haha. Last shift Thursday though.. thank God. I had to do my first bit of actual staff management. One of the receptionists texted me at 12:30 am asking me to work for her today cause she was out and drunk. Then texted me again at 3:30 and was like my purse got stolen I can't open the spa I don't have my keys can you work for real for me now? So I called her this morning - someone is going to go open the doors for her - but told her that it was SUPER inappropriate to ask me to work for her in the middle of the night cause she was out and drunk. Losing your key you can't really control so I'm not mad, but the initial asking is what was inappropriate. And she didn't get it. So I scolded her hard. I feel kind of bad, but at the same time.. not.

Thats totally inappropriate and she deserves to be scolded in my opinion!! And thats a crazy story x.x

Okay, good. I just feel a little bad. Maybe I'm not cut out for management. I'm so screwed for my new job :/

I do! But I've found a tutorial that doesn't require sewing, just a hot glue gun :D It has the measurements you need to use for the fabric, and it's a step by step tutorial that's easy to follow.

Geez, that really is crazy. The nerve of some people really surprises me. I've not called off at all for the job I'm at now. Granted I've only been there a few months, I just get too paranoid that they'll get mad, even if I'm sick. I need to get over the sick part, I know xD But I think you were right to get mad about it, and let her know, for sure.

It's totally normal to feel that way at the start of a new job! I start my new one Friday and I'm nervous to even ask for the two weddings I have this summer off and then my sister and I wanted to take a trip! Gah, so nerve racking.
