Nope. I'm not a big online shopper. I honestly don't even know what to get any of my family members this year.. and I'm really strapped for cash.. so a lot of things might be homemade.

In my experience most people love homemade cookies for christmas :)

But I know what you mean about not knowing what to get. I force my parents to give me wishlists! I find buying for my dad is always the hardest. My mom I can get kitchen gadgets and any sort of chocolate and she's happy. My dad though, he wants nothing.

I made these chocolate pretzel pecan things a few years back for my brother in law, and apparently it's all he can talk about to my sister haha! So he's getting some of those again.. and maybe I'll crochet him a hat. I have a plethora of wool sitting around. OOOH. Maybe I'll make my sister a headband!

True enough ;) I'm working away at hoarding items in my shop for that top tier achievement. Just over half way and I've been at it 3 months.

That sounds pretty awesome! I know I'd love to receive a crocheted gift. In some ways it seems more thoughtful - like someone actually spent the time to make something just for you that's entirely unique :)

That is very true :D Ohhh, that makes sense. First year in an appartment is always the most exciting :D Mh. I think it's something about all the episodes coming out at once? You don't need to have cliffhangers EVERY WEEK like for some shows.

Easy for you! I remember learning to crochet as a kid in my daycare, and I made a coaster or some thing, and it looked ridiculous and uneven, haha. Practice makes perfect ;) But that sounds like a great gift idea.

Wizard tokens are also useful for 1) playing carnival games in Delphi - there's a carnival prize shop with lots of fun items. and 2) vending - there's a themed vending machine in almost every land. Vending's great for hoarding items, building up your wardrobe and stocking your shop - you'll make a profit most the time :)

I have about 400 faeries left if I get off my butt and use all the ones in my vault. I remember buying hundreds when they were cheap (150 sp or so) so I don't think I collected too many for free. I think they're a lot less frequent than other event items. But it is a whole month...

I'm excited to reach tier 8 because I bought next to nothing new for tier 7. 8 seems to have a few more options for weapons at least! No new challengers, really, though. Most of the challengers with 5k+ HP seem a long way away. That or you have to buy a specialized set with targeted blockers etc.

I'm not so good with angst. I like my fantasy action-y but ultimately need the HEA. There's enough depreessing stuff irl. Does it end happily?

Kids stuff is hit and miss I find. I like kids stuff with a little wink to adults - like most pixar stuff is meant for adults to watch with their kids. Which is why it's so successful - it doesn't alienate adults. Until they hear let it go for the 10,000th time, anyway.

HEA? It does :D Most of her books are like that: pretty angsty but they always end happily. (you have to get to the end of the series though lol. The 4th book ends happily XD)

Yeahh, pixar is great :D I just bought a couple Miyazaki films, those are also good for all ages I find.

[edit] Spiraled Cook Book Of Feasting has been read to Mercenaire! ;; That was the most painfully expensive book. I had to buy it because pete was an ass to me ;;
