New name? I love it! Having a short easy to type name is awesome.
(Btw, looks like you're able to catch up on all the plot steps except the battle stuff at least :))
Hello everyone. I'll be pretty spotty today, since work's pretty busy.

No worries ^_^ I love your background and hair!
Hey! How is everyone? My interview went well! I go back tomorrow to sit in on a preschool room for an hour so they can evaluate me around the children. The director told me I can teach a lesson if I want to, so I'm working on that now. She told me she would call me Friday or Monday to let me know if I got the position. :)
Your av is super cute too :) I love that blazer (it reminds me of something I'd wear to work) and everything from the head up, hehe. I keep seeing those eyes on avs and I need to get them. Basically, I need all the wearables.
That sounds like an awesome opportunity! And seems like an indication they're seriously considering you :) I'm sure you'll do great! Is this more the kind of job you pictured when you graduated?

Thank you! :D I've had this blazer for a year or two, but I think this might be the first time I've finally used it. You can use these eyes anytime you want; I don't mind lending stuff out c:
I actually wanted to get a paraprofessional job in an elementary school setting, but there's not any schools around here that's hiring paras. And not having a license keeps me from driving further to find one. But for now, I'm okay with working in a preschool setting to see if it's something I could see myself falling more in love with.
This daycare has an infant room, toddler room, preschool room, and a room for after school kids that are aged up to 12. I was really hoping to work with the preschoolers since they'll be there all day and during the summer; so I was so happy when she told me she wanted to put me in the preschool room tomorrow. :)
I have way too many items like that, that I never use, even though they're awesome. It's bound to happen when you have thousands and thousands of items.
You always have the option to change your mind later. It never hurts to give it a try - you might really love it. And working with really young kids always seems to provide endless stories and entertainment, that balance out the challenge of teaching younger. I'm crossing my fingers that it works out for you :)

Yes, exactly! I get so excited to buy as item and then it just sits in my wardrobe and I forget to use it.
It went so well today! I was supposed to go for an hour and teach a lesson and spend time with the kids. I ended up staying over two hours and had a lot of fun. I love the head teacher I would be working with, she's extremely kind and gentle. And the kids were adorable and fun to play with. I'm pretty confident I'll get the position c: I just have to wait and see if she calls tomorrow or Monday.
I also have another orientation tomorrow morning, though, to be a sub for the other daycare. So I really hope I don't get a call while I'm there.
Hey! How is everyone? The weather is BEAUTIFUL here today.
I've considered doing one of those challenges where it's about using one item you've never used before every day in your outfit. But yeah, lazy, hehe.
That's awesome! It sounds like it would be a great place for you :)

I should really do that, but am also lazy. lol Plus I get frustrated if I can't make an item work. I'm too picky.
Thanks! I'm really excited about it. :)
How has your day been?
Understandable. I'm sure some would be easier than others. If it wasn't a set item, it would be easier, because I probably haven't used half my closet.
Just another busy day at work. At home watching netflix now - I've been rewatching That 70s Show :)
[center]
I love that show! I watched it all a year or two ago. I never watched it growing up because my dad knew it had weed in it lol. I was also not allowed to read/watch Harry Potter because of the witch craft. And we never had anything Santa related in our home around Christmas time because he thought it took away from the real, Christian, meaning of Christmas. My mom's house was always the complete opposite lol. They divorced when I was 3 or 4, so I went back and forth.
Wow that sounds like a pretty strict childhood. I guess it's nice that you had a balance between the two different parenting styles so you had more than one perspective.
Though I can kind of see why parents wouldn't let you watch that show in particular. (My parents wouldn't let us watch The Simpsons growing up, because it was too violent, haha :P Though that was only when we were pretty young. We still had Santa and Harry Potter and all sorts of other random stuff.) Though I still think it's a pretty great show as an older teenager/adult.

My sister and I weren't allowed to watch The Simpsons, either lol. My dad was very religious, and my mother is religious, but not nearly as strict. I do like that I got to experience the different parenting styles, but I moved in full time with my mother when I was 14 for a reason lol.
Neither of my parents is religious at all, so I find it a little hard to understand that whole lifestyle. I've never really had strong religious influences, don't know much of anything about the bible, have never really been to church, etc.
Being with your mom, as a girl, especially a teenager, makes a lot more sense anyway. But I can imagine more freedom would have been nice, hehe.

I have enough Bible knowledge for me and you both haha xD
I was never a bad kid growing up; and I didn't drink or do drugs or other unfavorable things. But being with my mom and feeling more free was definitely what I wanted. My dad used to have bad anger issues, as well, and me being a very timid person, he sort of frightened me. I love him and I always will, but over the years I've grown to believe we're better loving each other from a distance.
Same, I was always very much a goody two shoes kid. I certainly didn't need to be scared into behaving. I was very quiet and shy, and cautious about everything.
Freedom is only a problem when you have no good influences to help guide you into making good decisions. It sounds like your mom was still loving and there for you.

Yeah, she's done well. :) Did you get a lot of neat stuff yesterday from the event?
Yeah! I'm happy with everything I got :) I got all 91 plot points, and 4 of the battle prizes. (I did 33k damage with my pet, and 2k damage in crafted weapons) It seemed like a lot more, but I get bored with boss battles easily I guess, haha.
How did you fare?
[center]
That's awesome!! :) I got 86 points and 3 battle items. I sold one of the battle items for 200csc to someone lol. I only used 35 points, and then let Josh use the rest to get stuff he'll never use because he hardly ever gets on here.
Nice :) I have 20 points leftover after getting all the collectables and a wearable or two I thought I'd wear. I might sell those off, or buy backup stuff. Not sure yet.
I like that they gave everyone their choice of items though. That way you're not stuck with useless stuff you have to sell.
