I totally agree with you! Up where I am (I haven't really seen other native cultures, so I can't really speak about them!) they bead a lot and it's so beautiful and creative! And they usually don't have patterns, so they're making it from their heads :o

I work at a gift shop for the summer! I'm entering my senior year of high school in August, but hopefully I'll be taking freshmen classes at my local college.

If you do, let me know, I'd be very curious to see which ones I'm missing. My favourite is the squares one, I use that more than any of the others, though I've seen a few I'd like that I don't know the names of.

That sounds like a fun summer job! My first summer job was working in a fast food restaurant at a theme park - it was hot and greasy and icky.

I wish my mom would lighten up. Also, I wish I could trade in my family for a new one, since they're all a bunch of garbage compared to my friends, who don't yell at me or punish me for screwing up so much. I've gotten so bitter because of my family, and sometimes, I feel as if a couple blows to their faces will set them straight and teach them about being respectful to me, considering no one in my family gives a crap about giving me respect. It's sickening!

I think everyone wishes their parents would lighten up when they're young ;) Still, punching someone isn't going to get you anywhere - no one respects someone because they're violent, in fact it's quite the opposite, you (or I do anyway) lose respect for anyone who would treat anyone like that. Acting respectful, even if you don't feel like it, will probably get you a lot further with your mom, because she'll think you're mature.

My first job was in a deli that would reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit because of the ovens and the owner of it wouldn't get us an AC unit >.> This one is definitely more fun!

I'm pretty set on Petroleum Engineering c: If I end up in something else, it will also be heavy in math/science, but I'm pretty sure Petroleum is where I want to go ^^

I know that feeling, the place I worked had a counter that was open to outside, and a ton of fryers inside, so it was 5 hours of sweating and dying to go home each day!

That sounds awesome! More power to you for taking on the engineering industry. I wish I had a knack for math or science, but nope, I was always more of a liberal arts person.
