8 is WAY too much xP It's been a solid month at this point since I've been and I'm not really looking forward to the struggle of the first few weeks back at it.

Kindred spirits! I went to a college program. I've been at the spa I work at for almost 2 years now and I just started my promotion to assistant manager this past week, actually.

that is so exciting oh my, I would absolutely love to work in a spa and do makeup artistry on the side. Prior to your promotion (congrats!!) what did you spend the majority of your time doing at work?

A mix of spa services (mani, pedi, waxing, facials, massage) and reception. The last 6 months have been mostly reception and management type stuff. It just made my pay checks steadier.

Makes sense, we could all use a little extra cash! I despise nails but I have a feeling that will be tough to avoid :/ Waxing is probably in my top 10 activities ahaha, it's a major release for me.

I hate waxing large areas like a full leg or a back or arms. It makes me sweat xP And yeah, doing nails is super unavoidable... pedicures are really popular.

oh lord, maybe I'll just work in a waxing bar ahaha, its decent money so hey!

Yeah! Work somewhere where you're paid hourly and not commission, though.. that's been my struggle.

oh yeah that can be rough, they tell us all the time "don't work commission until you have a following"

LISTEN TO THEM. It's really tough to have your pay check fluctuate a lot.. unless you live at home. I live on my own though so I found it difficult to plan financially when I had no clue what I was making every week.

Yay! hugs I'm glad it showed up looking spiffy! I was just finishing up her hair before moving on to the hair of art for someone else. It's a slightly different thing than I've done before with the shading so I wanted to use something of mine as a test subject 0-0

ah not a problem! I'm in the middle of recruiting my friend to take all these stickers I bought and stick them to me and also buying out all the cheap survival flowers I can and laying them at the survival memorial for achievements.. I'm pathetic, I know.
