I'm cool with women making the choices they want to make - if they want to be a stay at home mom/wife - more power to them. But it shouldn't be the guy's choice, he she shouldn't be a glorified maid :/ /feminist rant

Right - as long as the woman gets a choice in the matter, it's cool :) It's when the guy is like 'a woman's place is in the kitchen, grunt, grunt' that there's a problem.

Personally, I'd be kind of scared to not work, and rely entirely on a guy's income - you hear horror stories about women getting cut off in divorces and stuff - but I guess that's more a statement on my innate ability not to trust anyone or anything, haha.

Yeah, I think a lot of women feel that way. I get bored at work when there's nothing to do. I can't imagine how boring it would be to be home all day.

Even with a kid, I think sometimes you just want adult company. But that's something people have to experience for themselves to know what's right for them :)

All my friends with babies are begging me to come over and have adult conversations with them :D

We're at that age where everyone is starting to get married and have babies all around us :P I don't feel like I'm anywhere near that, myself. I'm just too selfish with my time right now.

Hello everyone! How has your day been? We've had rain alllll week, and a tornado warning today. Luckily it didn't reach us. Have any of you seen the show The Fosters? I'm getting ready to try it out with my boyfriend. I've heard it's really good.

I don't feel anywhere near the married with babies thing either o-o I respect it, but I'm a selfish creature ^-^;; One thing I will say about staying home is: Housework is never done. Never. It lives like some unholy dustbunny of doom messes just spring up around it. And the lists. Good god the lists go on for miles D: There is always something that needs to be done, and there are always solitary hobbies for other times if you are so inclined. I'm a total feminist too believe it or not, just saying this from the perspective of someone stuck home a lot XDDD

I am soooo not mature enough for proper adult conversations. I'm bound to start bouncing in with a silly reference that exposes my immaturity or start babbling bout pastries ;-; How have you been lately hon?

It stopped raining and storming, and the skies have been rather clear for the past 4 hours, so I guess you could say it has worked itself out! I'm glad to hear you and your friend fixed things, as well! It sounds like you were both very mature about it ^_^ The first episode of The Fosters was about a lesbian couple who have a son, and they adopted twin boy and girl. They decide to foster another teen girl and things get really out of hand. It seems like it might be pretty good! Btw, I love your wig!
